I love 40s and 50s styles. The dresses, the hair, the makeup, all of it was so pretty. It's annoying that they are so closely tied to trad-wives because I want to rock that shit all the time. I know I can anyway but it's hard to shake the view the public has on it.

I do anyway. Nobody has ever linked me to a trad wife. I think that’s more prairie-core or cottagecore that’s tied to trad wives. Besides, not everything I own are dresses and a lot of it are actual vintage pieces that are a lot of fun. I say go rock the style.

People forget that rockabilly was anything but trad in the 50’s and 60’s

Yeah. I wasn't necessarily talking about rockabilly. I like rockabilly style but I was talking about trad 40s and 50s outfits. Rockabilly was counter culture at the time along with greasers and chain gangs.
