This is a really random one, but I've been straining my memory for it. When I was a kid, I remember a Doctor Who Day on the telly on I think the Sci Fi Channel, but it could have been Gold or any other of those type of channels. They had adverts, and they had these trails at the beginning and end which were really purple with a man hiding behind a sofa cushion/the sofa. I remember Caves of Androzani being part of the broadcast, and possibly Logopolis too, they were episodes we didn't have on tape (yes I'm old, shush), so they were rare chances to see the episodes.

Did anyone else remember these? And does anyone have a link to them? It's small but it sticks in my memory and I'm convinced I found them years ago once. Either way, it's a nice opportunity to reminisce about the 2000s and getting rare glimpses at classic episodes

Not a lot of great stories(do like some of his big finish stories tho) but i love Earthshock,Black Orchid,The King's Demons, and The Caves of Androzani:)

Here is an edit where almost all is from the 60s except three scenes from planet of the daleks and two quotes from genesis of the Daleks and day of the daleks. Beside all of that it is purely 1st and 2nd doctor era of daleks. Enjoy the video.

"Is that finger loaded?" - any other classic one-liners get you every time?

"300 years younger & I would've recognised this in an instant...!"

I love this story. Linx the Sontaran is such a sassy little bitch 😆. This dialog throughout is superb, the verbal sparring is only interrupted by actual sparring. And then there’s Jeremy Bulloch as Robin Hood.. I mean Hal. One of Pertwee era’s best stories

Rachel Redhead's story in this anthology (https://tardis.wiki/wiki/Charity_publication#Unbound), 'The Nechronopolis', features an unbound Doctor who briefly encounters some past incarnations within his mind. Can anyone shed any light on their identities:

• "The normally mild one with the hair and the green suit"
• "The tall one with Rupert Bear trousers" (this could be the Lenny Henry incarnation from his sketch show (https://tardis.wiki/wiki/Seventh_Doctor_(The_Lenny_Henry_Show)))
• "The den mother with the hearts of gold."

If these are pre-existing incarnations, is anyone able to identify where they originate from??

Thank you!

Hello!

I'm currently researching variants of the Dr Who character. I know they are officially unrelated, but I'm curious about the characters of the same name from the King Kong Show cartoon and live-action King Kong Escapes film.

I'm particularly interested in the further variants of the KK Dr Whos which appeared in various 60s tie-in manga - does anyone know where I might be able to access any of these online?? Several are listed here: https://millenniumeffect.co.uk/index.php/king-kong-vs-dr-who/.

Thank you!

Today I was able to meet the best classic doctor and one of the best classic doctor companions, Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant! I was bricking it and my social anxiety wasn't helping but when I spoke to them, they were honestly the nicest and kind people, I even got complimented on my name by the two of them which has inflated my ego in the best way possible 😂😂 Nicola even said my name and last name sounds like something from a novel which I will happily take 😂 Next time I meet them, I am determined to get them to sign a drawing or some writing of mine. The day was amazing and my inner Whovian is very happy 😁
