Help! Does anyone have a photo of what this passage is referencing?

"The story behind "Piñata" is actually pretty funny. Pete [Loeffler, guitars/vocals] wrote the lyrics based on the idea of walking through the mall, checking out girls and being called out for it. It's a tongue and cheek thing. We actually made a t-shirt that says "The devil made me look," which was inspired by a lyric in that song."

Looking for a very specific gift idea. Thank you!

At The Woodlands on Saturday.

Did anyone go to the show on 10/10? The setlist online shows that they played 2 more songs than the rest of the tour. Did they get an extended time to play at this show for some reason?

is there any way some one could buy a signed poster for me. I went to the Houston show tonight and thought I purchased one of them. It turns out it was a starset one. I didn’t check until just now, which is after the concert is over.

I can pay for shipping as well. Please any one. Chevelle is one of my favorite bands and it would mean so much TIA

I feel like it was around this time 2009- 12 ish that Pete’s writing just peaked. And in the best way. His writing has always been great but at this point it’s just so intricate. I’m thinking about not just songs off HOTTB but like fizgig and such

I haven’t looked forward to anything as much as I have this concert. I’ve been on a long Chevelle kick for the last few years. They’ve easily moved into my #1. I play along with them at home. I sing with them in the car, beating the shit out of my steering wheel.

I’m super stoked, and can’t share with anyone in my life who gets it like you guys will. :)

🤘🎸

My phone camera sucks so it can't capture just how sick the visuals were. Overall awesome performance.

Hi guys, this's my first time having a real band tee and I get this bundle from Taobao, the domestic version of Aliexpress, for 15 bucks by chance.

Considering the Bestbuy tag and stickers on plastic seal, personally I think this has to be an authentic merch from 2014, but I dunno if this is fresh or second handed. Maybe I can get some help from you guys to check that.

I cannot find any detailed pic but the one on the box to compare the tee. Looks like these strange faded effects were made by design, but I am still a little bit confused if it could be the outcome of a more natural process.

Glad to have my first band tee from Chevelle, please tell me it's not a temu one.

Hello 🖐️!

Any chevelle fans from montreal ?!?!???

Feeling hella lonely out here 💀

Longtime fan finally getting a good opportunity to see Chevelle on this tour, beyond stoked!

Reviewing the setlists so far, I'm surprised not to see any songs off of Vena Sera.

Is this typical for their shows, or just this tour?

Long shot, but my old band Dear Enemy played with Chevelle and I'm curious if anyone here saw it.

Still at it. My old bandmate Bryan and I did a Hum cover recently if anyone wants to check it out...

Sounds so much like U2; beautiful song.

Had so much god damn fun at Chevelle last night in Denver. Bought a pit ticket last minute just to see Chevelle. As soon as An Island started playing the most pit finally broke out, and I found my people. Not just people moshing but headbanging in unison, screaming every lyric. The band throwing down banger after banger. That's what I love about seeing this band live, they don't give you a break. Most bands will give themselves (and the audience) a breather and play a slower song -- nope, not this one. Nonstop heavy until the very fucking end. I thrashed around so much my phone and watch fell out 😅. Not a Breaking Benjamin fan so I dipped out after. Best fucking pit I've been in all year long (since the last Chevelle show at the Fillmore).

I don't spend a lot of time in this subreddit so I'm sure there's debates about random stuff (like all subreddits), are they playing the right songs, singing the notes the right way, did Sam get new glasses, is this just what Pete's hair looks like now, but when you connect with other Chevelle fans at a show and get to jump around with them, sing all the words with them, put your arms around them and headbang with them, just makes me so lucky to know this band exists and is out there playing heavy music and making more of it. I may have gone to the show alone but it certainly didn't feel like it -- and that's what made it special. (Forgot to take a single pic or video too lol)

Shoutout to Pete and Sam and Kemble for keeping it fucking real 🤘

I'm sorry to be critical. I know we're getting old and Pete has been screaming for years, but please brother take a few shows off before Denver next time! Last year your voice was shot, I was hoping for a different vibe this time. Seemed worse, hope you're alright man. Would love to hear you be able to scream next time! Sick show guys, I came for you and I'm stoked I got to see you again.
