I was never really a cat person growing up kasi i was surrounded by dogs talaga and natatakot ako dati na ma kalmot ng pusa. May dumating lang talaga sa bahay namin na maamo ang mukha and siyempre di ako maka tanggi na pakainin siya kasi she looked hungry 🥲 then pabalik-balik na siya saamin and then we officially adopted her 🥹 after that, more stray cats went to our house (feeling namin sinabihan nya yung other strays na may pagkain sa may amin 🤣) then ayun, 8 cats na sila na pinapakain namin 🤣

Im staying with a friend a couple of days. I noticed her cat had a bad and sour smell. At first I thought its because the cat has not showered. After a day I noticed the cat dirt on her paw so i tried to clean it with water but she winced in pain and meowed so loud. When I got a closer look I saw it was so swollen and I think the tissue around the claw was gone. I panicked and thought it might be a flesh eating bacteria. I rushed her to the vet despite it being night time. At the clinic we were charged a late fee, consultation, cleaning, medications, and prescription. All in all around 4k.

I dont have that much to spare since I was going to use that for my bills. I called my friend and updated her with what happened but to my shock she wasn't concerned. I asked her if she could pay the bill but she said since I was the one who took her I should pay. I was frustrated but I still asked her if she can atleast pay half. She said no. I told her but this is YOUR cat. She argued that since I was the one who took her then she has nothing to do with the bill.

We argued for a long time but in the end she told me I should keep the cat since in her words "pakielamera ako". I came back to her house to find it locked and her gone. I took the cat to my place for the time being but my friend now wont answer my calls or messages. I need advice on what to do. Took time off of work today to take care of her but im not sure what to do the next couple of days.

UPDATE: Thank you so much to everyone. Your moral support and advice mean everything to me. So far someone had sent for litter and another person has paid half the bill. Thank you so muchhh to both of you. Someone has also promised to send some for cat food and Im very thankful! I need all the help that I can get since I plan to stay by her side until she recovers. And yes I have decided to adopt her too. Her name is Peachy.

Since it's board exam season and I'm extremely grateful for the results, I would like to share this appreciation post for my orange boi and for everyone's fur babies who helped them along in their journey.

It has been a long-time dream for my partner and I to to have a munchkin cat pero ang mahal nila and hanggang manifest lang ako before. Over the years, every country na pinupuntahan namin, it’s a must na magvvisit kami sa cat cafe and every single time, merong munchkin cat and it feels like I’m living my dream just for an hour.

Fast forward na naka migrate na kami abroad, sobrang nagllong ako sa cats namin na naiwan sa PH. Sabay may nakita ako sa marketplace na for adoption na munchkin cat… Meet our new cat, Loafy! ❤️

Just wanted everyone to know that Reddit has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was so strong, from having to suffer from prolapse for days until he was patched up.

And because he was getting stronger, when he had his second hard stool passed, the clinic gave him a dewormer without asking us for consent. I was told he suddenly crashed because of the prolapse, but I and his supposedly future furparent think that he was given that dewormer too soon. He crossed the rainbow bridge around 3 a.m.. We are now asking the clinic to waive any fees so I could recover his body and give him a proper burial.

Reddit. Mahal na mahal kita, nak. I’m sorry if I couldn’t and wasn’t able to give you a better home than our cat roof. I’ll make sure that your mother Lico and your siblings Discord and Insta get fed every day.

This is Amenadiel. A stray cat that kept on visiting us months ago. We used to feed him infront of our door every night. It went on for months hanggang natuto na siya pumasok kusa sa bahay. Now, ayaw na lumabas hahaha. Dito na siya nakatira for real.

8 days na po since tumakas si Maui sa bakod. 4yo neutered/kapon male persian cat po sya. Adventurous and curious na sya even before. Sa Bicol kami before and outdoor cat na talaga sya, now lumipat kami sa Tanza (7mos na) and lagi lang sya sa loob ng gate tumatambay pero last week nagkaron sya ng lakas ng loob tumalon sa bakod.

I am doing everything po, hung dirty clothes, put litter box outside, feed and ask the stray cats, gave out flyers, put up posters, post on fb groups and gc. Morning, midmorning, at late night po kami naghahanap sa labas.

Nawala rin po ba ang cat nyo na kapon na? If oo, bumalik rin po ba?
