Hi! Ask ko lang po sana, accidentally ko po kasing nadent yung brand-new Mitsubishi Xpander Cross ko habang nagpapark sa garage. May small dent po and medyo nag-crack yung paint.
I have comprehensive insurance with Standard Insurance. Covered po kaya ito ng insurance? If yes, ano po yung process ng pag-claim and magkano po kaya yung deductible?
Also, ask ko lang po sana if mas practical bang mag-insurance claim or mas okay na ipagawa ko na lang using my own money. Thank you po! First time owner here.

Planning to buy my 1st car soon, and I've been researching and asking around for the past few months. Will be buying a good quality 2nd hand. I locked in at vios xle cvt, preferebly 3 or 4 years old and 40k km odo or less.

Now my question is, mahal ba ang repair ng CVT transmission in case na masira? I kept thinking about this, because few years ago a guy from work, nasiraan ng transmission yung 2nd gen Honda CRV niya (he bought it 2nd hand, medyo mataas na odo). He told me umabot ng Php 200k+ yung repair cost, parang bumili na nga daw siya ng isa pang 2nd hand na car sa nagastos. I'm not sure if CVT din yung transmission, but it made me conscious sa repair costs ng automatic transmissions.

I also read comparisons ng CVT to other Auto Transmissions, mas mahal nga daw repair/reassembly ng cvt in comparison, though Toyota CVT is better than other's.

To all toyota CVT owners, what's your experience on this? If may experience kayo na nasiraan ng transmission, magkano nagastos nyo? I will be using this car long term. I work mostly from home, umaalis lang a few times a week for meetings and errands. Within province lang 90% of the time. Heavy traffic is minimal. Sa projected usage, baka less than 10k km per year.

I think the main thing worth discussing is the difference between showing that a car can be hacked under certain conditions and proving that it can be remotely controlled by the CCP. Those are two very different claims.

I'm not saying BYD has nothing to worry about, or that Chinese cars shouldn't face extra scrutiny. But modern cars from all manufacturers collect data, connect to servers, and have increasingly interconnected systems. It seems fair to ask whether we're applying the same level of scrutiny to everyone

They're not saying BYD has no security risks or that concerns about Chinese companies are completely unfounded. They're saying we should look at the actual evidence and apply similar scrutiny to other car manufacturers, too.

Hi! To those who also own Ford Territory 2023 model, meron kayo suggestion na better replacement for the fender liners? Yung normal fender liner kasi ang bilis mapunit. I was thinking of something like plastic version para mas durable. I bought some in Shopee but sadly it does not fit daw even if it was endorsed as for Ford Territory.

Takot akong magsisi if I choose the Civic dahil practical, pero baka pagsisihan ko rin if I choose the GT86 dahil sa maintenance costs.

Hi car lovers and enthusiasts! Gusto ko lamang humingi ng opinyon ninyo sa pagpapa maintenance ng Montero 3.5 gen.

Malapit na umuwi ng Pinas si father-in-law at yung sasakyan nila mga 3x a month lang nagagamit at a short distance pa at medyo napapabayaan siya like missed maintenance schedules dahilan na walang makaka asikaso. This coming weekend magsstay ako doon kaya naisip ko ipa maintenance yung sasakyan para good running condition parin.

Ito yung mga aware ako at balak ko ipagawa sa maintenance: change oil, change brake fluid, brake cleaning, check underchasis. Yung sa EGR ang hindi ako sure kung dapat ba ipalinis ko na rin pero may idea kayo estimate ng EGR cleaning? How about yung checkup ng turbo? Ano-ano pa dapat ko iconsider to include ipagawa except change tire, brake pads.

Tips naman po for the first PMS. May mga nabasa kasi ako na may unnecessary charges. Okay lang po ba kung change oil lang muna?

For those who have an idea, magkano kaya ang 1st PMS if free ang labor?

Also, sa mga hindi nakaabot ng 1 month bago mag 1,000 km, gaano po katagal bago niyo na-reach ang 1,000 km for your first PMS?
