If the OE reference is available, when do you consider a photo necessary—for example, when the marking is worn, packaging looks inconsistent, or two parts look very similar?

Do photos usually help resolve the issue, or do you still need vehicle application details and reference checks before moving forward?

Curious how different teams handle this in practice.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for affordable parts for a 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 2+2 Coupe.

I'm mainly looking for:

• Front windshield
• Rear hatch glass
• Rear bumper chrome pieces
• Passenger-side headlight chrome trim
• Seats or affordable upholstery

Does anyone know someone parting out an E-Type, or know any websites where I can find reasonably priced used parts?

I'm trying to restore one on a budget, so I'm especially interested in used parts rather than expensive new reproductions.

I’m seeing online that the left button trim piece has different numbers or buttons I want to add another one does anyone have the part for the trim?

Need help identifying this to make sure it’s not off my car. The curved metal is a magnet. ChatGPT is convinced it’s part of my brake assembly. Claude says it off a small motor.

I replaced the battery and the alternator and the bcm and isn’t responding my liscense plate lamp isn’t working, idk if it has anything to do with the power steering but its hard to turn and the parking brake seems to be acting funny
I tried clearing the codes and it fixedeverything but when i drove it around the block the dash lights came back on
It will only start with the key fob in the transmitter pocket
Like i said brand new battery and alternator
I tried pulling some fuses but i dont really know what im doing in that regard
Any advice??
(Update) okay so what was going on i think is that the brake vacuum wasnt functioning and an abs issue causing the power steering to malfunction im still not sure but now im at a point where the symptoms just return after every test drive
Brake pedal is hard to press
Steering is tuff
Abs and traction control lights are on
I tried replacing the key fob battery
The car idles at 14.5 volts so i dont think its overcharging
Im just going tk try to reset bcm but yeah any ideas guys would be much appreciated🙏
