Hello everyone! As the title says, Im planning to transfer to usc nursing this 2ND sem bec Im unhappy in my current school. I already consulted with the chair and the registrar but all I've gotten was vague responses so Im kind of shaking in my boots atm. My grades from anaphy down to pathfit are excellent except for biochem LEC (which is what I'm worried the most) but other than that I'm fine and hopefully I can maintain my grades/improve them. I'm fine with being an irregular student as long as ma transfer lng jud ko T-T

I was really happy to study even when I am in probationary status here in the computer engineerning department in USC, it has always been my dream to have this and build projects with my knowlegde in I learned from this program. Unfortunately I just think I will be failing in one course which is calculus, I've been so down lately because I was an achiever in highschool and math back then was really easy to me. I also have hard time adjusting here since I do not actually live in cebu, I find my first friends here in my class very stressful that is why I distant myself away from them. My application for a partial course withdrawal has been endorsed both by our dept chairman and dean just now, and it is currently awaiting the final step from the registrar.

Would it be okay to not show up for the class that I withdrew tomorrow? Cuz we will have a long quiz tomorrow and if ever for some reason the application gets rejected, then i'm really gonna get an NC if I don't show up... 😭😭🥲

For the love of god, someone explain to me how and why the color of my socks and type of shoes I wear is crucial when it comes to proper education? I get maintaining uniformity within students, but why does it matter if I wear white or black socks? Why does it matter if I wear rubber shoes? Why does it matter if the students have uniformity when you can't even expect that from your own staff.

Hello po sa mga BSA seniors here 😭 I’m currently a BSA freshie and I’m already fighting for my life with our major subjects.

For the seniors, especially those who already took the departmental exams, what should I expect and what do you guys recommend reviewing? (FOR 1ST SEM MIDTERMS)

I’m especially struggling with CFAS right now. Our teacher mostly relies on After Class for the tests, and honestly idk how I’m supposed to prepare because I feel like I’m just memorizing things without actually knowing what to focus on.

If you guys have any tips, reviewers, references, study methods, or even advice on how you prepared for your departmental exams, I would really appreciate it.

Also, for CFAS specifically, does the departmental exam usually follow After Class closely, or should I be studying beyond it?

Has anyone made a thesis outside of Cebu City/Metro Cebu? I (M20, BA POS-LPS) have an idea of creating a thesis solo regarding the comprehensive land use plan in a certain locality down south of Cebu, but I don't know if its feasible and do-able long term. (also to seniors, has any of yall done a thesis relating to CLUP in certain localities before?)

I'm so frustrated. Mahal kaayo amoang tuition (almost 90k per sem) yet USC cannot give us personal Adobe accounts. Our only options are: (1) Go to the lab only when it's vacant/if you can sit in, (2) Download the crack version, (3) Buy the subscription. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING.

Pag SHS (Still USC) namo we had our own personal Adobe accounts which I expected when I would go to college. Pero wala. As in the prof would just tell us to find a way. Mahal kaayo mig bayronon unya inyoha raming papangitaan ug agi. Di sad ko ganahan modownload sa crack version when our paid subscription is right at our faces. Like if that's the case, expect na our plates made at home would be half decent nalang pud noh? I get the saying na it's not about the software churvaness but we PAID for it. Atleast give us access man lang. Bisag inyo pa ming ikick sa access igka graduate namo GO. Whatever makes your business thrive.
