Does anyone know if math professors curve, and specifically whether MATH 1630 final grades are historically curved? Specifically with Prof. Breiner.

I'm and undergrad and have my car on campus but my current parking situation is getting a bit too expensive. Was wondering if there are any people living off campus who may have parking spots they dont use which they would be willing to rent out to me!

Hello there, I am a Brown alum who has lately been desperately craving an Andrews breakfast burrito. Despite my attempts, I have never been able to quite recreate the exact taste (maybe I'm just not hungover enough?) If any former Andrews workers feel like disclosing any knowledge they can give about the recipes or brands used to make them, I would be so, so, wildly grateful. If it helps, my order was: scrambled eggs, hash browns, chicken, sausage, bacon, queso, cheese, sour cream, and hot sauce. Hopefully I'm remembering that right. THANK YOU!!!

Thank you

Hi everyone! I received a verbal PhD offer from Brown, and I’m really excited! It’s not official until I hear from the department, but things are looking good. Brown is my top choice because it’s the best school for my field of research, so if the official offer comes through, I’ll definitely be coming for fall 2027!

I’d love to learn a bit more about the school and what it's like to live in Providence.

• Is there anything you wish you’d known before coming?
• What are some great food spots or places to hang out?
• Please feel free to share any other information that would be good to know

Hopefully I’ll get to meet some of you :)

Hi! I was just wondering how treacherous the MATH200 midterm is. I thought it shouldn’t be that bad, but one page front to back cheat sheet sounds insanely sketchy. Anyone with experience?

I’m not a student but the local library closes so early and i was wondering if it was open to the public. Ik after the incident that happened recently it was closed to the public for a while. Not sure if it’s still like that. Thanks!

From a professional standpoint, how are the ballet classes offered at brown?

Hey guys! I made a bus tracking app for the the campus shuttle that is more convenient and easier to use than the official Passiogo app. The goal is to help students take advantage of our bus system. I would appreciate if you could download, leave a review, and spread the word. Happy riding!!!

I’ve been battling Brown’s pharmacy for the past month. They didn’t transfer all of my prescriptions, and when I asked again, they were unable to do it and instead asked me to get my doctor to send it directly to them. Then while refilling they somehow lost it again and found it an hour later. They also got the dosage wrong on another medication.

This morning I tried to refill two medications and the phone line is telling me that I can’t do it right now and there’s a technical issue. What???

This is severely impacting my quality of life. Not having the correct dosage of my medications AND getting them inconsistently has started to affect my schoolwork.

Is this a typical issue??? I’m considering switching pharmacies but that’s a headache I don’t want to deal with

Are you guys just skipping out on that week or what? 😂 I may just skip one day of class to be with my family longer.

I’m a brown alum looking to propose on campus in November. Anyone know any good, trusted local photographers who could capture this moment? Or any suggestions on where to look lol

Okay, I have one class that is required S/NC, and I’m taking Econ. I got an 85 on the midterm for Econ and I am NOT concentrating on Econ. Is it fine if I take that S/NC?

I would then have two classes S/NC on my transcript, is that bad or is that fine? or should I try to climb back up in Econ?

Is it ok to skip one class on the Tuesday before TG break to catch the flight I pre-booked? Or should I rebook?

Recently looking for housing as someone moving here from a very safe college town.

So I'm thinking about a few options:

1. A house near Gano Street
2. University Heights
3. Found Study

Are there any red flags around these streets? Mainly thinking about walking to Brown for my commute, so I'd prefer the safe options. Thank you very much! I'd appreciate if you give some views on things like: random people hanging out? Or Gun related?

15% off for college students with ID, scan the QR code for your spot (limited to 20 ppl)

Does anyone have good ideas? I’m thinking whether I can get a hole on it so it can get attached to the key chain. Has anyone done it before?

Hello everyone,

Has anyone admitted to the Biotechnology ScM ever been able to switch to the AM? Would this be possible? Are AM students still eligible for the Co-op opportunity?

Thank you!

Referring to APMA0160 (intro to scientific computing)
Only have a little bit of MATLAB experience and I understand the concepts but not the coding part on assignments, specifically with making loops for the different root finding methods 😥
