Last night I came across 2 really sweet pieces written about big L a few years back onwhat I assume is an abandoned website in his name made by someone from his estate. “The life of big L” and “casualties of a rap game” go into the personal and professional life of my favourite rapper of all time. Theres a couple nuggets of info in there which I hadn’t known before and it was great to read his niece talk about him. At this point I have small hope for the third promised and shelved documentary announced a few months ago called the Parable of Lamont Coleman since news on the project has been silent ever since, so it was nice to find a piece with input from someone related to him. They’re both well worth reading if you haven’t before.
Also a couple weeks back Herb Mcgruff made an Instagram post announcing an album in the third quarter of this year with unheard Big L music so there’s still that to look forward too🤞

I was looking for the Big L logo but couldn't find it in good quality, so I made it myself.

And here it is.

I can cop one locally for £100 but holy smokes that's WAY too much. I got full clip 4xLPs for £75. I love Big L and I'd consider it but really I feel like with the reprint of Lifestylez, maybe the estate would do a reprint of the big picture at some point?

i tried to find the meaning behind this bar and AI gave me this summary that it seems to be a double entendre. it can potentially be a triple entendre as well. if this was the real meaning behind the bar then this gotta be one of the illest bars I ever heard
