So I made an organization called Bell Larpertory where my goal is to make parody/joke projects that the actual Bell Labs. did as a side-project.

If you're interested on joining. Feel free to ask. I'd happily accept!

My long term boyfriend and I are preparing for a cross-state move and found old binders from when his dad worked for Lucent. These include the instructor and student versions of the advanced presentation and education skills curriculum.

These are the original lesson plans that were issued in 1996 and include all 12 modules. While not terribly relevant, my boyfriend expressed sadness in just getting rid of them. Are these binders of interest to anyone? Is it worth preserving these materials for archival purposes?

UPDATE 5/2026: I have not touched the binders since the move. 😅 bg-j38 and I have made contact though in dms and I intend on starting the process in June or July.

Also, long term bf is now my fiancé and I am very happy.

When Ralph Zucker agreed to let Apple TV+ film “Severance” in Bell Works, a mixed-use development in Holmdel, New Jersey, he had no idea what journey he and the property were about to embark on.

I loved going to that facility and seeing the history on display in the main building. I was let go in 2019 from the IH campus in Illinois. I still bristle at "Nokia Bell Labs." Yes, they bought it but taking credit for its legendary innovations rubs me wrong.

The Indian Hill facility in Naperville is slowly being demolished, the 2001 addition is the first.
