i checked everything my birth time etc. It was a little off but not enough to change anything, what’s wrong like am i doing something wrong? all of my horoscopes are so wrong i havent seen 1 that has truly been correct.

as an aries venus and i keep attracting capricorn venus and idk how to make it stop . talking to them feels like chore because i have 6h capricorn.

I was hoping people could share some tips to practice reading charts. I do not want to read people I know, but I want to get to know myself and what system works best for me when doing readings. How did you do it?

I am thinking of doing free readings on reddit in exchange of feedback, but I have read people usually do not even say thanks so I do not want to spend 30min or so on someone that won’t even answer…. How did you get feedback and how did you get to know what system worked best for you? Was it intuition or was it people saying they do or dont resonate with it?

Heyy! I'm new to everything about natal chart but I know enough.

I had used this website for months now, Astro-seek, and it had my birth location in it. It's a district name in Iraq

But for some reason, when I tried Astrotheme website and I put in a historic or old name of the district and it gives me I chose it and boom! My rising sign(Aries to Leo) and the house placements change too!

And warning, there is not much difference in the distance of the names I put in for my locations (with the help of ChatGPT, I figured it's only meters between them!!)

And being Cancer sign, I deeply feel now that I'm a Leo rising but I was into many wrong info while reading online about my chart. So also stay away from these mistakes as much as possible!

Hi I have a question for astrologers regarding Venus retrograde, I heard that it isn't advised to make any changes to ones physical appearance during this time, does this also apply to those who have Venus in retrograde in their Natal chart? As I have heard those with natal Venus in retrograde have an easier time per say. I have it, my rising sign is Capricorn rising and I've seen that this retrograde is regarding more about my public image like in my professional setting(I'm pretty certain) I'm no expert. I want a website or application that can give me a calendar with the moon phases + all the transits. For example, I want to see where saturn is today so I can study the effects in different charts (this is an example maybe not the right one).

I downloaded Starcrossed but it doesn’t give me for example a calendar for a planet or an overview of today with all the planets, I can see it by selecting the day and the planet which is tedious. Also I do not trust other social media because a lot of people promote apps by an undisclosed ad…

I do not want to pay and I prefer things that do not use AI, so if you can give me recommendations and maybe people can use my post for guidance too :)

Okay, so I first started dabbling in astrology several years ago, and I'm finally starting to get a deeper understanding of things. I recently learned that you need to look at the ruler of the sign of any given house to get a fuller picture of what's going on. So helpful!

And then just now, I found out about perfection years (which is so cool btw omg), and this question occurred to me. Can you keep looking at the rulers of a house a couple of times? Or would that just be complete jiberish?

Example, since l'm not sure l'm making sense:

I'm 26 right now, so it's a 2nd house perfection year. My second house is in Leo, which is ruled by the Sun. What I'm wondering is, does going down the rabbit hole tell you more? My Sun is the 5th house in Scorpio, which is ruled by Pluto. My Pluto is in the 6th house in Sagittarius, which is ruled by Jupiter. My jupiter is in my 10th house in Aries, which is ruled by mars..... and so on and so on....

everywhere i read online only speaks of the 1h as if it has to do all with appearances, physicalities, and impressions. why is there literally nothing else to the 1h? for reference i have 7 placements all in aquarius 1h (sun, mercury, mars, jupiter, neptune, chiron, nn) and i feel like it dominates so much of my chart yet i can make nothing of it. what else does the 1h rule? what are also some resources i can use for astrology that isnt pop astrology regurgitation?

Hello. I am looking to learn Sidereal Jyotish, Lahiri ayanāṃśa, Parāśari method, with Vimshottari dasha. I’ve done a beginners course though not very good , been self studying via books and videos . What I need now is a structured course but something in depth, detailed and thorough taught in English - online. For me this is a great tool for self reflection & growth more than for predictions - a way to hopefully be able to help people understand themselves, their karma, purpose , strengths and shadows . so I am looking for courses that will help me understand charts through this lens ( once they provide their basics also go into jamini) . And if it’s not asking for too much some that is engaging and nuanced not dry in how they are taught 😅. it can be an institute or and individual- though of course the individual makes all the difference in my opinion. It’s only in Astro- Seek that I have a 1st house Moon and Saturn, in every other chart I have them in the 12th house.

Why is a Moon in Cancer considered in its Domicile? What are the advantages of this placement?

It seems to be very negatively impacted by their own emotions, others emotions, and the cycles of the moon.

I am trying to learn, but just can’t wrap my head around it.

House 1: has a planet at 03°.

House 4: has a planet at 27°.

If prioritising signs, as the ancients did, this is a square.

If prioritising orbs, as modern people do, this is a trine.
