The general Strategy for this is stupidly simple. Don't play DD, it can work, and potentially is faster from some of our numerous clears from just today. However, 2 Ether Tempest, 3 Iron Gale is the meta for the Healing

You simply have everyone push beside and with eachother, typically keeping everyone within 0~3km from eachother so that you hear eachother and the DPM output is beyond substantial. Have the closest ship to torps Sonar in case it's needed, SAVE YOUR BUFFS FOR THE BOSS IF YOU CAN, that's literally it.

As image shows, on INSANE, you can get 3 flame and kill boss with 6 minutes left on timer.

I can not express how truly easy this is if you just stay together

For BB the builds are

Jackson: Left, Left, Right, Right/Middle

Rivers: Left Left MidLeft, Left, Right

For Cruiser

Jackson: Middle, Left, Middle, Middle

Rivers: Same as BB

If you WANT to run DD, you can run Rivers with Right Right MidLeft Left Right, or Jackson on All Left.

Today is my last day of trial on this bad boy, finishing with 93%wr of 14 games, 30 kills with av 2.1 k/d, and 2300 av xp.
I think that this is hands down the best t7 destroyer, 90s exhaust smoke, and 53s torp reload allows to do some silly things, doing circles around bb’s while torping them - vid related, and with the smoke + sonar i never lost a fight on cap against another destroyer, it’s like they never expect the smoke to start moving around them 😂

How does a tornado launcher get destroyed if the commander has a -100% chance of them being destroyed?

Also, since the update the torpedos are hit and miss with locking on to the target. Yes I make sure I have my target ship locked, I don't switch to main guns to quick, and nothing but open water between my ship and the target ship. Before the update it would happen once in a while, maybe once or twice over 10 matches, but now its happening a couple times per match, my last match it happened 4 times and then got a destroyed torpedo launcher while having a negative 100% chance of their destruction.

This was happening on insane mode.

whic one premium or not is worst battleship at tier six, my pick is gneisenau.

Twice now my team killed (blowed up) Ludwig in the last 5 seconds or so of the match but the result was Operation Failed. Is this a glitch? This was in Hard mode.

So this insane mode,,does anyone actually won it??? They reduce damage taken by 5 % and boost damage dealt for 20% . So i decide to try for a few more times..... only diference is that i survived for minute or two longer. The game where destroyers guns deal you more damage than your bb to broadside bb or cruiser is stupid funny and INSANE really. Whats your opinion? By the way i know i am good player i beat insane on every event till this one came.

which would be the best battleship at tier 6 for me its something with 16 inch guns so nagato, n.carrolian or nelson.

One challenge says to win 2 battles. Then it has 4 ribbons.... Maybe I don't pay enough attention but I can't see anywhere that tells me what those ribbons represent.

I think ALMOST every DD that his been added since I started playing about a year ago has some sort of stealth sonar or radar almost as if that become the expectation. Not that these ships aren’t unbeatable but I feel like it’s a big advantage over older DDs and is really starting to power creep them. DD smoke can obviously be strong tool when used correctly but the trade off was if you smoked and there is no one else spotting you drop spot but so do the other team but if the other team has a stealth sonar/radar they just push your smoke and you die unless you have already begun fully retreating. Again, I don’t think this is broken but it’s definitely really strong and the older DD’s feel that impact the most.

Need help with a Roussillon build. I don't really play French BB's. I have Jaujard at 16/3 and Fournet at 12/2(I can bump that to 16/2).

What modules and what should I build her into? The lone build on wowbuilds has ARP Haruna/Hipper as inspirations for a brawler type. I have those two commanders but don't have any premium French premium commanders.

Anyone found a way to torp soulshard ship in wave 1 on insane, without the cruisers intercepting it?

AA could use a rework to make it more fun, I think for the ships that have Dual Purpose AA main guns they should not be able to lose all aa guns, I also believe that if a ship Has dual purpose AA main guns like atlanta, Minotaur 2x2 150s should be able to manually shoot down planes While having the normal aa like optional to shoot them down with the main guns while keeping the same road time as normal, like as a way to manually target planes only with ships that have dual purpose main guns
