Question Bacon and lunch meat not deliverable?
For the last week all of the bacon and lunch meat has been greyed out but I go to the store and they are stocked up. Why would the app do that?

Long story short: Walmart online order (edit: not a grocery delivery, a small drill machine parts ordered for shipping, Walmart set how the delivery would be handled) which was delivered through spark driver and the driver ignored the tape that was put out to our newly done and painted driveway, paid $2k to the contractor just yesterday to finish the project (Don’t know why the driver had to drive on this driveway when it is just a short 15ft walk over the lawn to the door). Video from our security camera shows the driver drove away with the tape still stuck to the rear wheels.
called customer service, told me to go to store to issue a claim number, and then report back that claim number for processing. But store says it’s the other way around, but also says they don’t deal with spark drivers because it is a 3rd party contract. Called the cops and they said I can do police report and make a civil case claim in the court. but all of these seem like a dead end for me. What can I do?
Update: I reached out to walmart claims department as suggested here, they reached back quickly and provided driver’s Auto insurance. I will submit a claim there and in any case driver’s Auto insurance denies claim, I was advised by Walmart claim adjuster to reach out again for the additional step. Thanks again to those who understood my situation and provided valuable suggestions.

I'm a Walmart+ member and I placed a $300 grocery delivery order Sunday morning... delivery time was 8pm-10pm the same evening. The order never arrived.
Support said since the driver hadn't delivered it 40 min after leaving the store, they called the order back to the store... but they never rescheduled it.
Support also says there's nothing they can do until 48 hours after delivery time.
I can't get a refund and the order appears to be lost in the system. The store won't answer their phones.
It's the most ridiculous issue l've ever dealt with.
Any suggestions on how to get someone to do something about it?

Please rate your drivers after each delivery. Customer ratings are now being used in a rewards based system for the drivers so it is important to rate.
Please keep in mind:
If your order was shopped by a Walmart employee the driver is just delivering it, they had nothing to do with the selection of your groceries.
Thank you

I'm trying to order a sports bra and I can't get it ordered because there's no shipping option anymore and it won't let me set it for a scheduled delivery. My order got split in two, the sports bra in a separate category that says "free delivery" and everything else in the regular delivery option. I'm confused whether this second option is basically shipping or what's going on. I can't place the order until I know whether this second category is shipping because my shipping address is different than my delivery address as I live in a college dorm and the mailing center where shipping orders go is in a completely different building. My dorm building is also locked, so without the ability to schedule the delivery, there's no way I can get the items if it is just through the regular delivery through the drivers.

Hi everyone! I’ve had Walmart+ for months, have spent thousands upon thousands, and for the most part love it and have had great experiences.
The trouble started when I made my regular big biweekly grocery order last Friday. Some of the items I ordered weren’t available for same day delivery from my “home” store so 6 items totaling about $100 were bundled together for “shipping”. This happens often and I always get the items either that same day in a separate delivery or over the next couple days. This was during their recent deals event and one of the items was a knockoff Instant Pot that had been marked down to $60.
Originally it was supposed to get here Sunday. It got delayed to Monday. No big deal, as this happens from time to time and it always comes on the next date. I live in Woodland Hills, CA and the tracking page showed it had been “shipped” from Chino, CA, which is about 2.5 hours away on Sunday afternoon and should arrive Monday, yesterday, by “end of day”. Yesterday came and went, no package and not even anymore updates to the tracking page (which by the way has an awful customer interface and is really vague and confusing).
This morning, I check again. Still no updates to the tracking page and now it says “delivery from store” even though it also says it was “shipped” from Chino on Sunday?? Now I’m starting to panic.
I open up a chat with customer service. They tell me that they can’t start a replacement or refund process until tomorrow because often delayed shipments arrive after 8 P.M. on the third day, but they also can’t tell me where my package is, what might have happened to it, when I might get it, or if I will get it at all.
They tell me it’s being delivered from a Walmart in Burbank, CA. That city is about 45 minutes away. Now I’m really confused. I ask if they’re positive that it’s being delivered from that store even though it showed shipped from a completely different, much farther city, two days ago. They confirm and let me know since they can’t do anything for me right now, they encourage me to call the store and see if I can find out about my package. I call the department extension directly. They don’t answer. I call customer service and ask to be transferred. They don’t pick up.
At this point I’m extremely frustrated and anxious. I really need the pressure cooker, I planned meals around it and my next grocery order around it, and not only that, the package contained other essentials and I can’t afford to just buy another $60 pressure cooker or spend another $100 on all the same essentials. I rearranged our budget this week specifically to invest in the pressure cooker because it’s going to be very valuable for certain things in the next few months as we have to temporarily cut our grocery budget down as much as possible.
Is anyone able to shed some light on what’s going on?

for the past two weeks, i have had issues using walmart's scheduling feature for getting my groceries delivered. i've been a walmart plus member for over two years now. this has never been a problem. i use the app, and i set it to every monday for between 5-7.
last week when this happened, i thought, "well, let me try using the website." so i did, and i made sure it was scheduled in advance (again - as it always has been). this required me to do the entire process over, but nonetheless, i added everything.
same shit today. my phone is on focus mode throughout the day, i go to check it... no notifications, no updates, no, "your order was delivered." i even checked outside (i WFH). now i've had to pay for express delivery twice due to their own system's incompetence.
also, once i re-schedule it, it goes through perfectly fine – it makes it seem like the changes were saved, when they weren't.
anyone else?

I have Walmart plus and I had recently made a post about my experience with my deliveries. Some of the suggestions made were for me to try in-home delivery. Thankfully, I’m on a trial so I can cancel it before the trial is over. But overall, my delivery experience today was not good. You can tell that the person who did my delivery just didn’t care. Whoever packaged my food just threw everything into the bag like nothing. I ordered some individual yogurts that I usually get every week. One of the yogurts was open and spilled all over some of the groceries that I had ordered.
I ordered a green bell pepper and some avocados, but I never received them. Instead, they gave me jalapeño peppers which I did not order. The coffee I usually buy was apparently out of stock so they sent me a substitution which I approved but when the bags arrived, the original coffee that I usually buy was the one in the bag not the substitute.
I also hadn’t noticed this before, but I was going back through the Walmart app to review my order. It says that I opted to have the items delivered directly inside my kitchen. Well, the driver didn’t even knock on my door. They just left it at the door and I got a text message saying that my order was delivered. They didn’t even bother knocking on my door and wait for me to answer so they could bring the items inside.
I was hoping for a better experience, but I guess not. Now I have to go back to the store for the missing items that they missed which sort of defeated the purpose since I was trying to do the in-home delivery to avoid having to go to the store.

So the order was placed about 6AM on Friday morning. I knew when I placed it, that Saturday would be the delivery objective. For the entire day, the order said they were searching for a driver. A few minutes past 9 PM on Saturday evening, order status flipped from searching for a driver to Delayed, check back for updates. My guess is that there is a delivery bottleneck, with too many orders and too few drivers. Everything in the order is AMBIENT. Not that many items, but the net order weight is ~40 pounds. Order was originally tagged for SHIPPING, but WM changed it to DELIVERY. SuperCenter is the only WM for 40 miles.
In one sense this is better, because I'm heading to bed, and there has been intermittent rain all evening. Nothing I'm in immediate need for, just don't want it to get left out in the box overnight.

I ordered some things last night that I needed and it kept getting delayed and delayed then the driver marked it as delivered but I never received my items. On their end it’s saying delayed and they won’t refund me or cancel it. Am I screwed out of my money? It’s my fault for doing rush so late in the day I guess.

I've been trying for a week now to order perishable items (like cheese, yogurt, frozen fruit) on the app. They show as out of stock. I'm able to order non-perishables like canned food, dog treats, and vitamins.
I thought it might be that a fridge or freezer was down, or that they hadn't received a shipment. But after the third day, I called the store. First I spoke to someone in the app/delivery department, who said that it must be an app glitch because everything was fully stocked. They suggested I call the main customer service number, but they were no help and said to call the store. I tried calling back (several times) to reach a manager, but no luck getting through their ridiculously frustrating phone system. I had my aunt AND my sister each check on their own app, and they see the same "out of stock" notification.
I keep thinking the store will notice at some point that every single order is without perishables. But apparently not. How the heck do I let them know about this issue? I'd just drive down there but I'm currently recovering from foot surgery so I'm house bound. (Yes, I ended up ordering from another store via Instacart, which was pretty pricey.)
Ideas?

I always buy around $150 worth in groceries but noticed one that was $1,099.99..I know I didn’t make that one so I contacted my bank and notified them - they are investigating .. I’m wondering if the could be an error in Walmarts behalf?
anyone with experience with something like this?

It was all boxes. My whole lil Mazda 3 was filled and it did indeed take me 2.5 hours. Everyone ordered only one thing and it was a little nice that all the boxes were labled and they weren’t in bags thrown around my car by the employees. But still don’t know if I’d do this again that’s the longest I’ve spent on a delivery so far.

Up in the mountains of Adirondacks..some places have gps signal..some no servive for miles..can't get to the next order..no map available. By the time I get to a town with service..get the map to load ..order is canceled because of perishable items..walmart made me drop off non perishable items first..who the heck wrote the algorithm..never will deliver up in the mountains again!!

So I recently discovered that a Walmart actually delivers groceries in my area (I live about 30 miles from any Walmart, so I didn’t think I’d ever be able to get delivery).
What I’m not sure about is how much tip would be appropriate for that long of a drive. It would be 60 miles in total so I would want to make it worth the drivers time, especially considering gas prices. Gas prices in my area right now are anywhere from $3.50 to $4.00 per gallon.
I’ve heard different opinions on it, so I wanted to ask actual drivers, what tip would make a 60 miles round trip worth the drive?

Earlier, i ordered this fuggler (1st image) shipped. I checked on its status some hours later and it was a completely different fuggler arriving from the store (already on the way). I never got an email saying out of stock or substituted. I also thought substitutions wouldn't occur for shipped items ? Now i'll have to deal with returning the unwanted fuggler lol
I tried to chat with customer service and they said there was no substitution noted, just a change of delivery method. I asked if I would be able to get my product if I re-ordered it but they said theres no guarantee lol.
I re-ordered just to see ... and it happened again. Item is still not listed as out of stock for shipping, yet it got transferred to a store delivery with the wrong item again. I was able to cancel the second one before a driver picked it up.
I'm confused why they wouldn't just mark it out of stock if they couldn't deliver it via shipping or store... Also confused why I never got an email explaining it being out of stock / changed delivery / substituted
Just kinda ranting and also wondering if anyone else has had something of the sorts happen to them... first world problem fs but i just wanted my fuggler lmao

Hello!
Since I live in an apartment I always select the option to have my orders require a handoff so that a PIN is required for the delivery. I like having the PIN because it gives me peace of mind that I'll get my order without any issues.
Lately though, I've noticed that with some of my orders the PIN is shown when I first place the order but then disappears once the order reaches the delivery stage. When that happens the driver just hands me the order and leaves without asking for a PIN or signature. And one time they just took a picture of my door number plate to complete it.
I think of all the orders I've made only 2-3 times has it switched to signature and I actually had to sign even though it had a pin attached at first.
Does anyone know why the PIN requirement sometimes disappears after the order has already been placed? When I go back and check the order on the site it's gone from there as well like it never had one.
Walmart's AI couldn't explain why it happens. It just confirmed that the PIN requirement can sometimes be removed from orders.
Also for anyone who has Walmart+ InHome, dol InHome grocery deliveries still have the 4-digit PIN/must hand off option? Or does InHome use a completely different delivery verification?

I’m already paying $10 to have them express deliver the groceries to my house. On top of that I pay $10 tip to the driver to drop off the items. I get text message updates when an item is not available and the majority of times when I go in the app, it shows that there are no substitutes for that specific item.
It’s frustrating because within an hour of the groceries being dropped off at my door, I’m already at the Walmart looking for the items only to find them sitting on the shelf with tons in stock. Sort of defeats the purpose of paying $20 for delivery when I can just go to the store and shop for myself to save the money. But I hate shopping in busy stores and I hate long lines. What has your experience been like with grocery delivery?

Lowkey, I have been editing the tip based on correctness of the order I recieved/ if any items are wrong, bad or missing for over a year. I just read that the shopper is not also the driver?? Is that true?
So, when I edit the tip based on if the order itself was good, I am changing the tip of the person who didnt even shop my order? Yikes bro 😬
i edited my tip for today's order based on a shopped items factor. I fr thought the same person did both! Why does the shopper not get any tip? If it's not the same person, shouldn't both people get a tip?
