It finally happened to me last night. A log fell off a truck

Yes im forever traumatized. Yes he was going sooo fast. Yes it bounced in the road but not like in the movie. Yes i had to pull over to calm down. Yes to that other question as well.

It was nice knowing you. I would suggest spending your last few days enjoying life as much as you can.

You're talking to a ghost. Gotta crank out the Luigi board from now on.

My dad grew up in logging country and he always told me, if you don’t want to die, don’t follow a logging truck.

Some final destination deaths sound like nonsense, but this one is no joke

Yikes! And you survived, yeah? Can you document your everyday so we can follow up with you? 🤔

Yeah real logs don't bounce like that. They talk about it in the behind the scenes material that the director wanted to do that practically but they couldn't get the logs to bounce at all so they had to do it with CGI to get the shot.

Helps explain why my brain thinks that looks terrible. Pretty sure those logs are moving backwards relative to the road, looking at the white lines.

final destination directors are probably taking notes watching dashcam footage on this sub every single day

It's pretty good material to work with.

Literally had this happen to me. Was working for a land clearing company the summer after high school. Following our log truck in the fuel truck. Welds on the drivers side frame gave out and dumped an entire load of pine logs all over the road. I ran right up into them. Trashed the front suspension, totaled the truck, and I was pooping vinyl for a week.

Logs actually bounce like that while on the road.. Can be equally scare irl as it seemed in the clip

They actually don’t. They tried filming the logs bouncing practically but they just stopped when they hit the ground. So they had to use VFX instead.

They literally don'tÂ
