Hated Tropes (Hated)You know this cute couple we spend the last movie developing?Yeah, they broke up off-screen

John and Lori-Ted 2

Sam and Mikaela-Transformers 3

Wade and Vanessa-Deadpool and Wolverine(yeah,i know the ending implies they get back, but it just begs the question what was even the point, even Morena Baccarin Vanessa actress complained about how her character was sidelined)

Newt and Tina from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. So cute and the first movie was so charming. But the second movie was easily the most disappointing and pathetic sequel I've experienced, ever, so...

All I remember about the sequel was Johnny Depp taking a massive bong rip and showing everyone WWII with his smoke, and that was the last time I ever interacted with a Harry Potter property.

Not only that but the implication that Johnny Depp knew that WWII (including the Holocaust) was going to happen, and that the wizarding community knew and did nothing about it.

He hated muggles, so muggles killing muggles made no difference to him.

That's because they basically made him into magneto and wizards into mutants. And the mutants in the x-men tend to be a "we only care about ourselves" sort of group.

At least Crimes of Grindelwald was some kind of fascinating bad when you break it down, Secrets of Dumbledore was just so bloody boring. I’m glad I didn’t pay money for either.

I heard it was because the actress had been so outspoken against J.K. Rowling’s transphobia.

I mean, she was still there in the second film, and in the third, it's just that her presence was less and less there. Most likely because they had to juggle a lot of characters, and she was deemed to be less important to the War plotline, along with being a bit of a basebreaking character.

Wow I am just now learning that there's a third fantastic beasts movie. Either that REALLY flew under the radar or I somehow wiped all knowledge of it's existence from my memory.

Yeah, third one is the one where Mads Mikkelsen takes over as Grindelwald.

It was scheduled to be released in 2020, which obviously didn’t happen because of the pandemic. They also recasted Johnny Depp halfway through filming. There were lots of things against them to make it a success unfortunately. I personally do not think it is as bad as others say it is, I enjoy it, and I wish they would’ve gone through with the original plan of releasing 5 films.

In hindsight it's actually pretty fortunate that this movie failed given everything Rowling has been up to in recent years. May this new show follow in fantastic beasts footsteps 🙏

Katherine Waterston. Sam Waterstons daughter. She’s good in the Agency.

The fact that we will never see them actually getting together annoys the hell out of me. They didn't even get to kiss! Atleast I can live happy with the knowledge that they are canonically married and Luna marries their grandson

My biggest beef with the sequels is that Jude Law is the most perfect and incredible casting choice for young Dumbledore and everything else about movies 2 and 3 is absolute dogshit.
