Honestly, what makes it even worse to me is the fact that if you keep track of the timeline of events, they’ve only been in a relationship for around two months (and have known each other for not much longer) or so prior to her leaving. And when she comes back the series acts like they’re freaking soulmates.

I know this is a kids show and all but, but it’s really hard to take the relationship seriously in that regard

So many pieces of media do this and it bugs the fuck out of me. People will have a one off fling after meeting for a few days, then not see each other for 5 years and when they do they act like they're a separated married couple.
