1: using another flashpoint to create the tomorrowverse (Justice League Dark: Apokolips war) after 80-90% of the cast is killed off and billions lives are fated to die Flash and Constantine hatch up a plan to kill baby Darkseid to prevent the entire story from happening which just leads to an entirely different universe being formed and even erasing some characters from existence.

2: Jim travelling to the beginning (Tales of Arcadia series) after multiple characters die including Toby Jim uses a magic gem to travel back to the very first episode but instead lets Toby find the amulet… this changes things how?

It’ll be a soft reboot at best so they can recast some important characters. Everything in the previous movies will still have more or less happened. Maybe slight changes like Stark doesn’t die or he still does he’s just brought back with a new face. Who knows but they’re not throwing away the whole universe.

They're probably going to follow Hicknan's Secret Wars comic to an extent:

  • Doomsday will end with the multiverse "dead," and Doom making Battleworld
  • Battleworld will be a hodgepodge of the remnants of various multiverses
  • Doom will be God Emperor
  • Secret Wars will be whatever heroes weren't featured prominently in Doomsday (Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, et al) fighting back and trying to undo what Doom has done and restore the multiverse
  • Secret Wars ends with a soft reboot - characters that were dead come back with new actors portraying them, existing characters getting recast, and/or new status quos like Mutants being more prevalent and the FF always having been on the main Earth or something (maybe even tease Miles Morales being introduced)

They've lied about stuff like this in the past.

Lest we forget Andrew Garfield swearing up and down that he's not in No Way Home, or the Mandarin switch-up
