But the episode where Dorothy’s brother dies gets me when Sophie breaks down-“my baby is gone” 😢
But I think the one that will always make me sob is the last episode. The end of the series and end of a lot of memories. 💔

Dorothy getting married to a smart rich bf she’s had for a while. At least a whole season of them dating. And he wants to take her around the world and spoil her , but Stan and their kids get jealous but then realize this is the love she deserved all along, so stan helps their children realize Dorothy deserves to leave and travel around the world. So they give her a happy send off after the wedding.

Rose and miles get married at the court as a romantic private hitch decision . But rose doesn’t have the heart to leave Blanche and Sophia, so miles sacrifices for her and happily moves in with Blanche and Sophia.

Sophia stays living in Blanches house. And she reconnects with Mr mitsumo as a companion. They go on dates and he begins to visit her frequently. She also has rose and Blanche help her start a union to help those in need of protection from mistreatment in homes or care facilities.

Blanche gets a fine raise from the museum, satisfaction from the union of helping others, and decides she actually enjoys being single since she already had her one great love.
So she would rather have fun with men and accept that sexual liberation is enough.
She also makes a better effort in reconnecting with Janet and the baby. So Janet moves nearby to be closer.

Again respectful this would have made sense to me 💗

I dont know why many didnt really place this higher. It leaves a tear in my eye and the song doesn't help that. Homelessness should not be a problem in this day and age but here we are.

The Golden Girls really hit you with the hard stuff and its beautiful how they deal with most of it

I live in an apartment complex and a delivery driver just came through and did their usual brief two honks and I just blurted out, "Blow it out your diddy bag," and then I internally laughed so hard. Thank you, Sophia! I wasn't even thinking. I just blurted it out. 😆 (Season 1, Episode 12) "The Custody Battle" For context in the show Dorothy had just yelled at Sophia to give her some space a few scenes prior when Sophia had handed her a piece of paper with a picture of paper with the phone number of a guy who had asked her to squeeze some melons for him and Dorothy tells Sophia to get off her back and Sophia tells Dorothy to not raise her voice at her mother and then Dorothy says "Then stop smothering me and give me some space!" And Sophia says "Space? Fine. Have all the space you want. Dorothy asks where she's going and Sophia says " To Mildred's. She's shorter than you. She doesn't need so much space! In the next scene Dorothy comes into the kitchen and says "Morning, everyone." And Sophia says "Clear out, girls. Dorothy needs her space" and Dorothy says "Ma, don't start with me." And Rose says "Now come on, you two, let's put on our happy faces." " It's a beautiful day and Gloria's coming." " Why don't you just kiss and make up?" And Sophia says "Why don't you just blow it out your ditty bag".

It’s actually kinda heavy and good quality- I wasn’t expecting that! I ordered it from the Hallmark store and I love it!!

Remembered this quote when I saw the promo for the new Miami Vice movie. Where did all the colors go?

In the christmas episode, when the girls are picking names to decide who gives who a gift, even though it it isn't mentioned by process of elimination sophia would have been giving rose a gift, i wish we could have seen what it was, knowing sophia it definitely would have been a laugh track moment.
