Hi, i am trying to find this old symbian game. When i was small (maybe at 9 or 10 years old) i like to play my aunt's nokia phone to play any games. I specifically remembered playing this old syimbian game. I dont know what names is, what i know it is arabian kinda setting, the mc had this pull rope that pulling gold to himself. Then i scolded by her so i cant read the title game. When i borrow her phone back, she deleted the game. Since i am adult now, i want to find the game back since it was very special to me. It was very good game. So please if anyone know this old symbian game. It had arabian setting. It was Prince of Persian like game. I am sure it was not prince of persian.
(Sorry for messy eng. Eng is my second langguange)
Thanks!
Hi guys, I'm desperately looking for this static wallpaper for the 3310; if anyone has it, please send it to +39 371 473 5755, because I was really attached to it.
I have a Nokia C5-00 that I’ve been using for a long time and it was working just fine, but last year I put it away for maybe 6 months and when I picked it up again and I tried to turn it on it gave me this message “phone startup failed, contact the supplier”, I tried to hard reset it but it didn’t work, can anyone help please?
Seems like the information out there is a bit of a hit-and-miss regarding the usage of the BEST flashing tool and Phoenix.
I have a Nokia E90 heading to me (will probably get it on Monday the 12th of Oct 2026)
Since firmware updates is not really a thing discussed here, but is it really required to run the latest firmware on a Nokia E90?
From the pictures, it seems like a normal E90, with no region specific languages or any sort of Middle East or Asian keyboard mask.
I already had downloaded the BB5 firmware archive from archive.org (just had to sign up)
and downloaded the whole RA-6 folder.
In there, I saw that there are quite a few EMEA firmwares, up to 400.34.93. -> To my knowledge, the latest firmware. I would probably use the v8.0 and not the v8.03 (probably an update from v8.0)
From all the posts and everything that I heard of, either one can use an older copy of Phoenix or Infinity BEST tool to perform a firmware upgrade?
Since there are so many versions floating out there, not sure which one to use at this point.
What I do know is this:
- Use a older computer running Windows 7 (32bit) - Lowest risk of crashing/bricking the Nokia devices
- Use a good USB cable (with ferrite bead if possible)
- Use direct USB connection to device, no USB hubs or USB adapter cards that may cause trouble
- Use USB 2.0 port if possible
- Install Nokia Suite for the device drivers
- Firmware files (already downloaded)
- Infinity BEST tool (not sure where to source from)
- Phoenix tool (not sure where to source from)
I would need some guidance from you for the following: (Procedures, if you will)
- Backing up my E90 or any other Symbian device, (full ROM backup if possible)
- What to do when it is bricked (Dead USB mode)
- What files/assets I need to perform a firmware upgrade to the latest firmware.
From all the videos and tutorials I had followed, it is quite comprehensive, and would like to document this procedure(s) - for others to follow as a source of information.
Thank you in advance, look forward to your responses.
If there is any useful blogposts/wiki guides that I can follow and document here, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm currently working on an old C++ project related to Symbian/S60, and I need RVDS 4.1 to build/compile the project using the older ARM toolchain.
I've found copies of RVDS 4.1 Suite Service Pack 2 and ARM Compiler Toolchain v4.1 online, but the installers require a license, and I don't know where I can legitimately obtain one anymore.
If anyone still has a complete RVDS 4.1 installer, or an old installer + license that they no longer use, I'd really appreciate it if you could share it with me.
I'm mainly looking to use it for building an old C++/Symbian project, not for commercial use.
If you know of an official download, archive, or any legitimate way to obtain/activate RVDS 4.1 today, I'd also really appreciate any information.
Hi, hope you're all doing well. I recently got a job that involves communicating with people every now and then, company couldn't provide me with a work phone at the moment so I said don't bother, pulled out a mint Nokia E66 slider, pretty happy with it until I feel the need to write down a note when I don't have a notepad handy. That's when I started looking for a qwerty phone that does just that plus the calls ofcourse. Did some research went between E72 and E6 and found that the Nokia E6 ticks all the boxes, good camera, ergonomics, build quality, battery, camera, screen. Few questions about it - which symbian version is the best for it, Anna, Belle, Refresh? I know something like Delight CFW exists but couldn't find a site that doesn't get flagged as malware, is it even worth it and is it anywhere to be found? Also, knowing it has wifi is it possible to maybe jailbreak it or something and get Microsoft Outlook or Gmail to work as that would be a massive bonus? Or if not, maybe there's a better E or N series qwerty phone out there, the E72, E61i? Any input welcome and thanks for taking time to read all this :)
Hi everyone!
I have an old Nokia E65-1 that hasn’t worked for many years. We tried getting it repaired before, but unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed.
I recently remembered that there’s still a 1GB microSD card inside the phone, and I’m hoping it might contain some old photos and videos that I’d really like to recover.
My question is: can I simply remove the microSD card and put it into a microSD/SD card reader to access the files on a computer, even though the phone itself doesn’t work?
The card is a Next Gate 1GB microSD, and I haven’t tried removing or accessing it yet because I don’t want to accidentally damage or format it.
Is there anything I should be careful about when trying to recover the photos? And is there a specific card reader or software you would recommend for such an old card?
