Hey everyone — my name’s Rory. Please excuse me if my Reddit etiquette is a little off. I’ve actually never really used Reddit before, so I’m still figuring out how everything works here.

I’m a longtime Star Wars fan, and back in 2003 I made a live-action fan film called The Jedi Saga, which was featured on TheForce.net at the time. More than 20+ years later, I decided to return to those characters and finally make a sequel.

The new film continues that original story and also ties into my version of how the Bothans obtained the information about the second Death Star and got it to the Rebel Alliance before Return of the Jedi.

With AI movies getting a lot of slack when it comes to quality and consistency, I wanted to make sure it was well done, so it took me 3 months to put it together because it was a story I genuinely wanted to tell for many years. I’m simply trying to get it out there and share it with other Star Wars fans who might enjoy it.

Thank You

The Jedi Saga II

Hey all! We made an action-packed little short fan film and packed it with Star Wars, Top Gun and other movie references. Enjoy!

A fan-film based on a fan theory from the 2010s that I always wanted to animate, and finally finished.

Hey guys! We just finished making this fan film concept trailer in our spare time, and we hope you like it :)

I'm making a fan film with a sith group and if anyone has sith character designs that I can use that will be a lot of help.

I've made one (image).

There was a fan film long long ago in the early days of the Internet. Ours was in the style of a 16mm safety video from school. It had a catch tune something like “Make your lightsaber a lot safer!” I’ve searched and searched and cannot find it. It’s not Lightsaber Safety 101. It’s actually old. Like me. Ring a bell for anyone? Pic is Star Wars adjacent but nowhere near as old as the fan film I’m looking for.

After the events of The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller and his allies face a rising new threat while attempting to escort an imprisoned Darth Vader to the Rebellion base. A fan sequel to TFU2.

Hello there! My name is Lord Swoonski or StarWarsNerd00 on YouTube, my buddy OuterrimTransmissions66 and I are currently working on a “What If” project in the style of Genndy Tartokovsky’s 2D Clone Wars! We just finished our storyboards for the project and going over a table read with our voice actor tomorrow. We are currently in the process of editing animatic, what we’ve been having issues with is finding an animator. We are currently on a bit of a tight budget considering we’re both under 1k subs on YouTube and this is just something we wanna work on and put out for the public. If anyone’s interested please send work to kenricgwin994@gmail.com and or kyberentertainment@gmail.com with samples of your work and we will add you to the screen play so you can see what we’re working on

It’s coming.

(Sorry about the mona Lisa said I had to add an attachment to make a post)

Anyway I'm looking for two different but specific star wars fan films from years ago might be 10 or more years old.

The first one involved kind of like a sith battle royal where sith lords come from far and wide to fight for a sith holocron. One of them turns out to be a filthy jedi and pulls out a green lightsaber after losing his fake red one.

The second film is about two friends that go and watch attack of the clones together and then one of them ends up building a lightsaber in the real world. Eventually he discovers he can use the force and ends up turning to the dark side and then all his friends get the spare lightsabers that were built and have an epic dual at the end.

If anyone can find these videos I would greatly appreciate it.

My best friends and I spent all summer making our own fan film entitled “A Jedi’s Betrayal” 20 years ago. Still the best summer of my life.

The editing is harsh. The dialogue is mostly cringe. The plot isn’t that original. The audio isn’t balanced well. We basically stole brute force taught ourselves Adobe Premiere and winged it. But we love it. Very little we would change.

I’d love to do an anniversary edition to share with them (and my new wife who has yet to see it) with some upgrades.

Can visual lightsaber effects easily be added in and maybe subtitles are added for clarity? If the audio could be remixed, that would be a plus. But we only have the final file, not original footage. And I don’t have the time or skill.

Is this doable? Could someone leverage AI to do all that? I don’t know what’s possible these days.

Anyone interested in a commissioned project?
