I’m so proud to say that last week I attended my 20th Sounders game.

I’ve been a fan since I was a kid but i only started coming to games last season.

I grew up in Seattle but I moved down to Vancouver a few years ago. It’s a bit of a drive to get to a game now (2.5 hrs) so unfortunately i can’t go to every home game like I would prefer to do, but i still come up for a ton of them.

Even though I’m now only about 30 minutes from Providence Park I’d never switch sides. It’s Sounders Till I Die always!

A real test coming up against a top team in their home stadium. Can the Sounders continue their 4-game streak of scoring multiple goals in a match?

I know how bad it sounds (support no matter what and yada yada yada), but I found myself rooting against the Sounders. The move to Renton is all but solidified from a commercial real estate perspective. Waibel made bad decisions under the guise of being frugal. A place in the basement would have proven that the fanbase deserves more.

Instead, Joveljić has proven to be a good signing. The Sounders will surely make the playoffs after tonight. Everything is OK.

But I am not happy. I wanted it to fall apart to prove that Adrian was wrong. Instead he will keep on doing what he is doing, mediocrity be damned. He was "right", as in we have a playoff team, but Sigi (RIP) was also correct when he rolled out boring sides for years.

The team will make a push, and anything can happen in the post season. I won't forget it wasn't good enough. And I won't buy tickets in Renton.
