This is a strange selfie. Everyone is moving, abit like a video.

You can take a frame from a high quality video and viola, you now have a picture.

I prefer stringed instruments and typos. Thank you for catching that though lol

I knew a girl named Viola. We dated, kissed, and voilà, now we’re married.

How did her parents insist her name is pronounced?

That's Vy-Oh-Lah

Alternatively Vee-oh-lah. Like the instrument.

video frames and dedicated photos are not really the same, they both capture what's in view but the fidelity is way different; better resolution, sharper details, etc.

That's fair. We also don't know if the younger person has a clicker in her hand that she didn't get a chance to use.

Edit: major typo, because it's early for me and my finger slide autocorrect is just trying to do its job.

I don't know why but on my phone videos are higher quality than photos, I take videos all the time just to take one frame as the photo and it's higher quality than if I had just taken a photo, plus there's the benefit of taking as much time as I need to get the shot, instead of using a timer

First time reading a joke? That’s an amazing 40 years you’ve had.

I don't know how to tell you this but a video of yourself is just a lot of selfies strung together

Try it. Take a video of yourself and then hit the pause button and see how remarkably close it is to a selfie

wow it's almost like screenshots and picture in video features exist. crazy.
