Ecler Warm 2 Meters Query
Any Warm2 users experience the headphone/cue going into the red in the meters way too easy? Can’t even keep trim at neutral (12 o’clock) playing many records. Thanks.

Hello gang,
I'm still new moderating a sub, so learning the ropes and all the different settings and what not. It seems some standard comments and even posts are getting flagged as spam and I don't get notifications for them. If you post a comment or make a post and don't see it show up, shoot me a DM and I'll take a look.
I'll also be looking at how to improve this so not so many comments and posts get flagged by default.

Use this thread to post and share your mixes created on rotary mixers. I may create a new one to replace this in the future as this post grows older.
It would be great to add some information with your post like which mixer was used, was this a set played out in public and recorded or just a studio recorded set, etc.

Ciao a tutti!
Sto mettendo su un impianto analogico da stanza ispirato ai "Listening Bar". Il mio obiettivo assoluto è ottenere un suono caldo, corposo e che non stanchi mai l'orecchio.
I miei componenti sono:
Sorgenti: 2x Technics SL-1200M7B
Mixer/Pre: Ecler WARM2 (Mixer rotativo interamente analogico)
Diffusori: Altec Lansing 997R (3 vie vecchio stile con woofer generosi)
La mia idea:
Vorrei collegare l'Ecler WARM2 (usato come preamplificatore) direttamente in un finale puro Rotel RB-1582 MKII (200W, Classe AB, Dual Mono) tramite cavi RCA.

Hi all,
Does anyone have any issues with recording from this mixer? I record using an irig stream into ableton or sometimes directly into my phone. I use the rec out. The signal is always hot and clips even at low volume. Anyone got a foolproof workflow?

Hi guys,
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but will I see the benefit/a vast difference on a speaker upgrade from ADAM Audio tv5 to Kali Audio IN-5? I know speakers can have different benefits - say for example if you have a studio/producing music. This is for my Resor 2525, in a small room.
I feel the ADAM Audio is perhaps a tad too 'beefy' with bass and hear Kali Audio IN-5 could be a good one to go for.
I want to get the best out of my rotary, so looking at speaker options.
Thanks :)

Hey everyone, I’m making my first real DJ setup. I bought two XDJ700s and now I’m looking for a good mixer under 400€.
I value good analog sound quality. I heard some people say the xone23 was pretty good for the price but that the new 24 got a lot worst.
I’m also open to good vintage or 2nd hand models. I know old Vestax models are famous for their sound quality, but not sure which models would be worth it.
Also I will not be scratching, I will be mostly mixing ambient/triphop/downtempo, so smooth transitions are really important to me, way more than quick ones.
I also want to know what are your thoughts on rotary faders because they seem a lot better for the kind of transitions that I do, but they also seem to be more expensive, not sure why.

Hi there. It's official - I pulled the trigger for isonone 420 and now I have about 8 months to find a best way of fitting it into my table. Any suggestions?
In the left it's what I've got now (aside from decks which are currently 1210mk5 - these 1210mk7 will be delivered soon) and second photo with isonone is probably how I will end up fitting it - I will ask my carpenter for a cover so I can swap two mixers. I'm thinking about some sort of angled insert cover that would allow me to hide the hole after four.valve and angle isonone towards me. I hope it makes sense.
Some say I will stop using other mixers once I've got the Isonoe as it's the final boss but knowing myself I'll rather leave some flexibility for the future as I love DJ mixers 😂 Saying that another option is to cut the desk so mixer would sit flush but then front of the table has permanent cut which I'd rather avoid.
Thanks
Lukas

Hey folks! I just purchased an Union Audio Two Valve and I am looking for online tutorials or examples for folks new to using rotary mixers. Thanks in advance.

Picked up second hand MC audio solutions DJM A9 kit and I’m really happy with the result. Having the crossfader still really suits my mixing style and imo gives you the best of both worlds

After much testing, I have come to the realization that my left xlr output is sending out a significantly weaker signal than the right. No problem at all with booth output, which is what I use 90% of the time when connected to my home sound system.
But that other 10% of times are paid gigs and until now I assumed it was the speaker that was busted. Kinda nostalgic for when I thought that was the issue... So, is this something I can get fixed or am I screwed? I don't expect much help from Ecler given that they're overseas.

Local event producer has this set up. Sound system is called “Maxine” a RLA designs, custom variant. Next event is this weekend, October 3rd in Branch Brook Park NJ, “ubiquity Soul” is the promotion, and DJ T wise is the system / setup owner.

I'm deciding between the Isonoe ISO420 and the Varia RDM40 and would love to hear from anyone with hands-on experience of either, ideally both.
Context: Harbeths, valve integrated for now. Mixing / blending all sorts - some recorded house mixes.
From what I can tell, sound quality is excellent on both, so the real differences seem to be:
The thing I really can't picture is the ISO420's angled layout, with the level controls sloped towards you. What's that actually like to mix on? Does it feel natural after a while, or is it something you consciously adjust to?
Any thoughts on workflow, feel, or living with either one day to day would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Hi!
Recently converted my xone 23 into rotary.
It was on stand by for about 2/3 months bc the left fader was failing, instead of repairing I decided to convert it.
The conversion went great (or not)
Potentiometer is working wonders, everything is fine. But after 45 min of playing it restarts. I’m making sure the connections are fine as of now, but wanted to ask if anyone has had a problem like this before? Thanks in advance

I’m trying to decide between an MP2015 and Euphonia and would love some input from people who’ve actually used both. I currently have a Xone:96 and Model 1, and I used to own a Rane Empath. I mostly mix house/techno, do longer blends with more vinyl lately. I absolutely love the Model 1 for how it sounds and sums but the fader curve is diabolical...
While the Xone:96 is great it just feels a little cramped to me. The MP2015 looks great for the layout, build and old-school Rane feel, while the Euphonia seems like the more modern option with effects and current support. I'd be mainly using traktor4 dvs.
Curious how they compare in actual use—rotary feel, EQs, and just which one is more enjoyable to mix on. Also, noticed lots of listings at 3K plus for mp2015's. Is this still market rate at this point?

Two days of records, mixing and good music in Berlin! 🇩🇪 Together with our friends at Oye Records, we hosted a special two-day Open Decks Session, bringing DJs, vinyl lovers and curious listeners together to experience our Henderson Model X mixer in a public setting. From the Oye Records store in Prenzlauer Berg to Neukölln, the sessions were all about getting behind the mixer, playing records, discovering new releases and sharing the music we love. A big thank you to everyone who joined us, played a set, listened, and helped make these two days so special. It was a pleasure to hear the Model X in the hands of so many different DJs and experience the energy of the Berlin vinyl community! Here’s a few pics from the sessions. There's a few videos as well, you can check them out on our YouTube channel!

Hi all
For some reason I have a pic in my head that Madstersounds released years ago a hybrid rotary/linear 4-channel mixer.
Could not find it and now I'm starting to think that I've been dreaming.
I'm in process of buying a new mixer and come from long history of linear fader mixers. Now I'd like to treat myself with good quality rotary mixer but at the same time I'd like to "just in case" have the option of linear faders.
Do I need to get two mixers...

Hi everyone,
I’m thinking of getting a rotary mixer, but I’m a bit lost with all the options. I’m currently hesitating between the Taula 4, Bozak AR-4, and Union Audio Orbit.4 LE/FX. I’m also open to discovering other 4-channel mixers in a similar price range.
Would anyone be kind enough to share their personal experience with any of these mixers? I’d be particularly interested in sound quality, how they feel to mix on, build quality, and how well they hold up over time in terms of reliability and maintenance.
I’d also love to hear from anyone who has had the chance to compare two or more of them.
Any other recommendations are very welcome!
Thanks!
