Anna is one of the community cats I care for. When I went to feed her and her colony today, she was nowhere to be found.

A few hours later, I found her lying almost lifeless near the church where I regularly feed her and the other cats.

I immediately brought her to my apartment, which is just a couple of minutes away from the church, to observe her condition. However, I noticed that she was having serious difficulty breathing, so I decided to rush her to the vet.

Anna underwent a CBC, Blood Chemistry, and X-ray. According to the vet, she is having difficulty breathing, and they suspect either bronchopneumonia or chronic respiratory tract disease. Her blood chemistry results also showed extremely elevated liver values, although she has no visible signs of jaundice.

She was also diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia, which is putting additional stress on her liver.

Anna is now confined at the vet clinic.

We’re hoping to raise a little help for three community cats who need some medical care. ❤️ We’re a small, grassroots effort of just two people caring for a lot of cats in the community, so any support would mean a lot to us.

The first kitten was dumped at the public market fairly recently. He has mange and a respiratory infection and needs treatment for both. One of the kind shopkeepers there has been looking after him, but we’d really like to help get him treated as well.

The second cat is Conan. He’s been around for a while and has been very feral this whole time. He badly needs a dental and neutering, as he’s been struggling with his teeth for a while and can’t groom himself properly. He’s almost always dirty and prone to recurring skin issues because of it. Thankfully, he’s recently started eating out in the open instead of underneath cars, so it will be a lot easier to trap him now and start his rehabilitation.

The third is Ollie, one of our community cats who lives inside our apartment building. He’s also been struggling to eat for the past few days and has been pawing at his mouth. 😔 He needs a dental as well, and we’re hoping to bring him in alongside Conan if funds allow, since we’ll be traveling to another city for their dental care.

She’s a young mother cat, who had all her cute kittens adopted, and was left behind to be euthanized in Lancaster, California. She is the most loving, tender, gentle cat you could imagine. She need to be adopted or fostered within the next day. Lancaster is a high kill shelter and they don’t give extensions. Can anyone please be this gentle angels hero?

This little girl is just about 2 months old and already suffering from a painful, ulcerated eye. Her eye is in a serious condition, and there is a possibility that she may have lost vision in it...

The outer membrane of her eye has ruptured, and she's in pain. She desperately needs veterinary care and medication to help her heal, I took her to the vet today but they referred us to an eye specialist

The good news is that the vet is hopeful that she may not need surgery!!!

But for that to happen, she needs timely treatment, and we cannot afford to delay getting her the care she needs.

We're trying to raise $45 to cover her eye specialist's consultation and medications. Every little contribution will bring us closer to getting this baby the treatment she deserves.

Did you know that feline mammary tumors are often aggressive and can be malignant? 😔

Zen had tumor removal surgery in June and her biopsy showed high-grade tubular mammary gland carcinoma.

In her x-rays last month, her lungs are still clear but a couple of tiny dots are “indicative” of a spread. We have to come back for another screening this weekend to see if there are any changes.

In this regard, we are raising funds for the following:

Xray - $17 x 2 panels
Ultrasound - $15

‎Trying again to reach out for help with food for the 80+ cats I care for. 49 are indoor and the rest are community cats.

‎They need 7 bags of dry food to get through the week, with each bag costing $22. That's a lot of food to provide, but these cats depend on me everyday, and I do my best to make sure they have something to eat.

I care for more than sixty rescue cats here in Morocco — many are special‑needs cats recovering from injuries or illness. Among them is a mother cat we rescued while she was pregnant, and her little kittens. The mother and her babies need wet food to stay strong and healthy.

Food and litter alone cost us around 1 200 USD every month, and our stock of dry food, wet food and cat litter is nearly gone. We also need critical supplies and medicine for our special‑needs cats: eye drops for blind cats, diapers for paralysed cats, bandages and wound‑cleaning supplies. I don't know what to do anymore. A month ago, I took in this sweet girl from the streets because she was crying to everyone passing by her. I thought she was injured so I took her home. I bathed her, groomed her, fed her, etc. I've been caring for her for a month now, but I can't keep her much longer. I have severe allergies to cats and I'm limited on funds. I already have two other cats I've rescued but they're the limit to what I can afford and handle. I've been feeding them all Purina allergen food but with her as an extra, food and litter have been running out so fast. I'm at a loss. I've been trying to find her a home with no luck, don't want to give her off to just anyone especially with Halloween coming up. She's extremely sweet, doesn't scratch or bite. She dances when it's feeding time. She always wants to sleep on me or next to me while seemingly hugging me. I live in NYC, shelters are not an option because I know they will just sleep her. This tiny ginger boy is only 2 months old. He was rescued just in time, moments before a car could run him over.

Now he needs a vet visit, his first vaccine, and food. I also need to find him a loving home where he’ll finally be safe.

The tiny kitten I rescued from the middle of the street is only 3 weeks old. I took him to the vet, where he was treated for severe eye infections, bacterial infections, and congestion. He’s eating, active, and receiving medication. His eyes are still very red, and he has a long road to recovery. ❤️‍🩹

After a sleepless night caring for him, my rescue cat Nala had an emergency too. I took her to the vet because she wouldn’t stop biting her front legs. We’re treating her for suspected mites and a possible food allergy, but if the treatment doesn’t help, she’ll need further testing.

I’m a solo rescuer caring for 50+ community cats every day, providing food and fresh water, doing TNVR, and rescuing sick, abandoned, and injured cats. The feeding and caring for the community cats never stops. On top of that, the ongoing care for this tiny baby, including vet follow-ups, medications, and supplies, adds up quickly while I’m still carrying debt from rescuing other cats.

I do everything I can for the animals, but sometimes it becomes overwhelming to manage so many needs alone.

That day, when I found her, she was extremely tired and terribly hungry. I couldn’t stop thinking about her and wondering how she was managing to survive in these difficult conditions.

Today, I surprised her. I brought her a can of tuna, and I couldn’t believe it when I watched her come running over to eat. 🥹❤️

She had never tasted such a delicious meal before. Her usual daily food was just bread, whenever there was any available.

I'm a one-person colony caregiver in East Tennessee. What started with one cat showing up in a rainstorm has grown into caring for a whole colony of cats who depend on me every single day. I've spent countless hours trapping, getting cats spayed and neutered, arranging vaccinations, feeding them, and making sure they have safe places to sleep.

With winter approaching, I'm working on getting everything ready for the colder months. Some of our shelters have started to rot and will need to be replaced, and several of our houses need extra insulation to help keep the warmth inside. I want these babies to have the best protection I can give them when the temperatures drop. 🥹❤️

Hi everyone. I’m really sorry to post again after only a few days, but we ran out of food yesterday, and I have no way to buy more to feed the 70+ cats at our rescue. We’re already $2,150 in debt, mostly due to veterinary emergencies, but also from previous food purchases that weren’t covered by donations. I’ve already put in every bit of money I had, and I have nowhere else to borrow from.

Yesterday, I was supposed to do a small job (mowing the lawn and cleaning up a garden) to earn some money to buy enough food to at least feed the cats today. But the phone and internet networks were down for hours, and I couldn’t get in touch with the person who had contacted me about the job. Unfortunately, I lost the opportunity.

Last night, they had to eat whatever I could find in the pantry and fridge that was safe for cats, but they still haven’t had breakfast today.

Covering our expenses is always difficult, but the past two months have been especially hard. Almost all our expenses have gone unpaid, and the debt has continued to pile up.

A large bag of food (20 kg) costs around $120. Food for our cats with FeLV and gastrointestinal issues costs $70.

Unfortunately, we can’t use wishlists because we’re in Uruguay and customs regulations don’t allow it, so we’re unable to receive support from people who only donate that way.

San Bernardino City Animal Shelter is a high kill high volume operation. It is located in the largest county in the US. SBC is located in Southern California where the overpopulation crisis is raging. During kitten season new babies are turned in daily, sometimes 30 or more a day! People just don’t s/n in SBC! So we must keep up with the demand. Many cats brought in are sick injured confiscated or abandoned as well. The shelter does not offer much more than basic treatment for sick/injured cats either so they must exit quickly by rescue or they are listed for euthanasia with a fast deadline depending on the ability to care for them. We do have amazing volunteers though that give us first hand information updates photos videos and almost instant feedback. Please help us by pledging and donating when we post and rescue. Thank you.
Also we always need transport to get cats to rescues. So if you can help by setting aside a small amount to our transport fund this is appreciated. It doesn’t go to the rescue it gets them TO the rescue. We absolutely need this part too.

She showed 9/28/2026 with two kittys about 3-4 weeks old.
We fed the mom alot daily as she was nursing.
The town was able to catch mom and have her spayed and gave her vaccines and flea control and released her back here in our backyard.
Also trapped one kitty and was able to tell he was 8 weeks , 4 days old and neutered, socialized and put up for a good home.
The other kitty must have learned and would not go in the trap.
11 days since we saw that cutie.
