Used a different painters tape off of Amazon. Straight 🗑.. im sticking with Scotch pro line. Rapco saved it with the final spray. 🎨

I have always had good luck with my paint jobs lasting on rifles even under alot of use I feel they hold up fairly well. But I’m debating on doing a handgun or 2 , so many of you paint your pistols and if so how well does it hold up I know kydex holsters are really aggressive as well on finishes !
(Also I don’t care about the warn battle wear ,that doesn’t bother me I kind of like it )

I painted the front sight on an M206 for a better sight picture.

Ive done vehicles but never my guns. Turned out pretty good I think! Now I just gotta stop myself from doing all my guns lol.

I have become a big fan of the sponge method. The new Staker Precision TA01 + ACRO stack says it needs more paint.

My first time rattle caning my gun not sure if regular spray paint will work or if there's a specific brand to get so it doesn't flake and chip

Getting ready to spray my first rifle. Is 1 can enough or should I purchase 2? Also do you guys prefer a nice light base coat color for this product?

I rushed it, did the whole thing in about 30 minutes to beat a storm coming in but I have no regrets.

Hey everyone—I tried to research this independently first, but I couldn’t find very consistent information. I accidentally had a tape malfunction and got some papco spray paint on the lens of my SRO. Does anyone have recommendations on how to safely remove the accidental spray without damaging the lens coating? I haven’t tried much yet as I’m afraid of damaging it, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Like some, I’ve loved DNC for a while. Apart from its reliability with modern tech, I believe it still looks cool.

Here’s a brown take on it.

Paint used:
Base coat - Rapco CARC brown substitute: 30051
Stencil coat - Krylon Satin Khaki (wanted to use Rapco for both so badly, but this gave me the tan I liked most)

Stencil used: Unavailable, “VinylWeaponStickers” but any DNC vinyl will work

Fantastic quality paint blows the doors off of ur basic rustoleum but im not happy with the color. Going to order a greener olive drab from them !
