How exciting for you. As per my username I also love to travel. Top 3 favs (and it’s hard to pick just 3!) Galápagos Islands, Alaska and South Africa. Japan and above Artic Circle in Sweden are close!!

Thank you! I'm really interested in Türkiye! My favorite two vacations were to Bulgaria and Tenerife. I'd say they're equal because they were so different that I don't know how to compare them.

Japan has been my favorite country to travel to! I really enjoyed Kanazawa (especially the garden) and would love to go back a third time for more off-the-beaten path type places or perhaps Hokkaido in wintertime.

Korea has got to be my all time favorite but I was born there so I feel biased. Seoul is just amazing and come with an appetite. If I had to choose somewhere in the US right now it'd probably be San Diego (partially so I can see one of my RAOC friends irl).

Enjoy your trip! I don't really have any favourite places (I like each place for its own different reasons). As you are about to head to Turkiye, I can write a bit about my favourite place there! I spent 3 weeks in Istanbul years ago and I loved it! So many cats, transportation modes, and being close to the water
