Don't know why but I like investing some play money in very small companies, but have not looked for a while. Last time I thought the NZX offerings were dire. With a few candidates in the ASX.
What is currently interesting others?

What I want to talk about is actually the complete opposite of the picture. Yes, this was a crazy good day. The best day my portfolio has had - 90k a while ago. Absolute madness.
But I want to talk about volatility.
Days like that one are the easy part. Theyāre the highlight reel. The real test, the one that separates people who stay invested long enough to get rich from the ones who donāt is what you do when the opposite happens.
If you canāt handle the idea of watching your portfolio cut in half and still doing nothing, stocks are probably the wrong asset class for you. And thatās completely fine, better to know that upfront than to find out the hard way.
But there will come a time when your portfolio drops 50% or more. You have to truthfully ask yourself do I have the stomach for that? Can I sit there and do nothing?
A big mistake with investing is mistaking action for progress. We buy, we sell, we move money around, we pivot. When in reality all we are doing is killing our returns. There are huge mathematical advantages to doing nothing. You avoid taxes, costs, and most of the behavioural mistakes that come from reacting to noise.
The sooner we realise that we are not smarter than the market and the way to win is to hold good businesses for the long run, the more money weāll make.
Investing isn't about being smart. It's about temperament and discipline. To be able to withstand boredom.
So remember: volatility is the price of admission. The real skill isnāt picking the winners. Itās having the temperament to hold them through the drops and do nothing when everyone else is panicking.
Best of luck everybody keep stacking!!

Four month update from your (this sub's degens) recommendations. All four stocks are down bad. You guys are not very good at this.
RDW -61.6%
SIDU -78.7%
UMAC -33.3%
USAR -56.7%
I picked RDWR +1%
Down ~10K nzd. I might have to start thinking for myself.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hey all,
Anyone actively use Blackbull markets? Iāve been on Sharesies, IBKR, Tigertrade, Tastytrade. I know weāre all Degens so looking for a NZ-friendly trading platform that I can push to its limits without much restrictions.
Tell me if you do use Blackbull markets and any integrations you use, or recommend me another platform that you use to gamble your paycheck on.
Thanks š

Iām back with another high-risk small-cap idea: Equus Energy (ASX:EQU). Also well done to anyone whoās made money from my previous calls all we do is win
Iām still holding substantial HMR up 120 percent and likely see the stock to go 4$ plus and also have a substantial NASDAQ short position through QID and QID calls currently green,
Back to Equ this isnāt a producing gas company and, The thesis is that EQU may be able to commercialise a large, already-discovered North West Shelf gas resource by connecting it to existing infrastructure instead of building an entire LNG development from scratch.
What caught my attention:
EQU owns 100% of the Equus Gas Project.
Independently certified 2C resource of 1.7 Tcf of gas plus 38 million barrels of condensate.
Pre-FEED identified a phased development using a leased FPSO and existing pipelines and processing infrastructure.
The proposed development targets approximately 2 Mtpa of LNG, 50 TJ/day of domestic gas and peak condensate production of around 12,000 barrels/day.
Alcoa has signed a binding but conditional 10-year gas sales agreement for roughly 50 TJ/day, or 182 PJ across the contract.
Alcoa can provide up to US$30 million of staged project funding toward FID.
Alcoa accepted the Stage One work in September and approved US$1.5 million of Stage Two funding for the partnering process.
The companyās Pre-FEED model estimates a 100%-project, post-tax NPV10 of US$867 million, a 31% IRR and approximately US$1.25 billion of initial Phase One capex.
What could cause a genuine rerate?
Signing a credible upstream operating or funding partner.
Securing commercially acceptable infrastructure access.
Moving into FEED.
Additional LNG or domestic-gas offtake.
A funded path to FID without excessive shareholder dilution.
My view
Alcoaās involvement makes EQU more credible than a typical concept-stage gas junior. But the next decisive test is not another presentationāit is whether management can secure a serious operating and infrastructure partner on acceptable terms.
If that happens, the valuation gap could close quickly. If partnering stalls, the current discount may be completely justified. Iād say we will see this before end of year, most likely Woodside with an off sale to overseas customers of up to 30 % straight back into shareholders pockets,
Disclosure: I hold substantial EQU This is a speculative position, not financial advice. Do your own research.

INTC $95 to $125
CRDO $160 to $218
And recently closed VSTL $20 to $26 this morning
