I think Trump outclassed MJ there.. Oh you mean music. Sorry.

MJ didn’t even play an instrument. Bruno mars sings, dances, plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano and lays many of these tracks on his studio albums. MJ can sing and dance.

I'm not a huge MJ fan but he produced albums, composed songs and was conversant in music theory as much as any session musician was.

Jimi Hendrix only played guitar.

The number of instruments one plays does not a great musician make.

Why did you say that so old timey wise man riddle like?

And that is not the argument I’m making. When I think musician i just don’t think of someone who does not play a musical instrument. Technically it would include singers and definitely songwriters or anyone producing music. Generally though people think of singers as artists and ā€œmusicianā€ is the generalized term for the ones playing instruments, or that’s the way it’s used more often probably.

Pretty much a useless topic to debate, it’s too subjective. My point is that Bruno mars is underrated as a musicians and widely popular, and I agree with dude saying MJ is better, but at what?
