Built out the .45 ACP LC Carbine specifically as a dedicated perimeter and home defense platform designed to maintain a discrete footprint. Stripped away all unnecessary clutter and built the ergonomics around a strict, zero-tolerance baseline.
The Infrastructure:
Optic: Sig Sauer Romeo5 on the factory absolute co-witness mount.
WML: Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X mounted directly at 12 o'clock.
Indexing: Strike Industries LINK angled hand stop seated deep in the 6 o'clock M-LOK.
Transport: Savior Equipment Specialist Covert case (SW Gray).
The Geometry:
Putting the TLR-1 on the top rail allows flawless ambidextrous thumb activation using the wide paddles. This completely eliminates the need for a failure-prone pressure pad and dangling wires. Pushing the Romeo5 up on the absolute co-witness mount clears the top of the Streamlight housing perfectly, resulting in zero visual occlusion in the glass.
The folding stock makes it highly maneuverable indoors and packs down cleanly into the covert bag. Since the ATF just dropped the NFA requirements for suppressors last week, a Rugged Obsidian 45 is the next immediate addition to take full advantage of standard subsonic 230-grain ball.
