Does the frame work?

An indoor boho-style shoot with a wonderful model. We had that warm light so typical of the boho look - the entire atmosphere was perfect. And yet, the shot I love the most is the one I hadn’t planned at all.

Somewhere between two poses, she started to laugh, her hand in her hair, her eyes closed. For a moment, it didn’t feel like a photoshoot anymore.

I love moments like that.

The idea behind the "Window to the Underworld" is this: I love how the window frame cuts across the face and how the horns cast their own shadow on the wall - a creature from another world.

I started a small succulent garden in an old wheelbarrow in my back yard and placed this owl statue in it and took this photo to send to my sister while she was in hospital and she really liked it. She has always liked art and art theory so it made me really happy that she did 😁

Quiet Colors

The lake was quiet, except for some ducks, as the colors rose across the water. Shot with a Sony A99II and CZ 16-35 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

Posting a photo I edited in Adobe Lightroom (Goal is to go for a stylized approach as opposed to the natural photography)

Photograph taken by my Cousin Michael and me. It shows actress Megan Tremethick, as a Sword and Sorcery inspired sorceress taken during the filming of The Slave and the Torturer.

Multiple lights, (consisting of Godox LED's) haze machine, colour gels.
