New Release The Boys Of Dungeon Lane Megathread
Want to share your thoughts, reviews, feelings, or anything else about the first Paul album in over 5 years? Please use this thread!
If you'd like to make a separate thread for it instead of using this one please message the mods first with the idea of what kind of post you're looking to make or it will be removed to prevent everyone's front page being album reviews one after another.

Question Are there any more songs with Paul's haunted/creepy voice?
I love his kind of haunted, hollow voice like in Can You Take Me Back or in Too Many People.
Are there any more songs that feature his voice like this?

What is the Secret?
In his interview with Amy Poehler, when she asks Paul if he’s spiritual, he says he does the thing “you know the secret?” What does he mean? Is it a euphemism for sex?
The timestamp is 54:22 on the Youtube video. Here’s the transcript:
Amy: Do you have a spiritual practice, Paul? Do you feel like you’re a spiritual person?
Paul: Um, I don’t have like a practice so much. I meditate. Um… and I sort of believe in a power. I don’t know what he or she is but I know there’s something there and I feel. And I often do that thing-you know the secret?
Amy: Oh yeah
Paul: Heyyy
Amy: I got really into that for a minute
Paul: Yeah. Well I’m still into it
Amy: I mean you probably were on my vision board and here I am talking to you
Paul: Oh I just know the simple version

Discussion Distractions
I’m listening to flowers in the dirt for the first time and distractions is one of the most beautiful, sgt peppersesque songs I’ve heard of his later stuff! This album is quite beautiful so far.

What's everybody's favorite song from Flowers In The Dirt?
Mine's a three way tie between You Want Her Too, We Got Married, and Motor Of Love.

Discussion Paul has now brought up "Monkberry Moon Delight" twice in two weeks, purely coincidental or does he have something up his sleeve??
Paul brought up "Monkberry Moon Delight" unprovoked with Jimmy Kimmel last Friday and then on today's Good Hang with Amy Poehler he talked about smoking Monkberry Moon Delight.
He's mentioned in the past that his grand children and nieces and nephews have told him RAM is their absolute favorite album and wish he'd play more from it. Is this when we finally get some more RAM material live? Aside from "Ram On" at sound check, and "Too Many People" during the '05 tour, he's skipped most RAM material.
It would be hilarious if Paul decides to finally play "Monkberry Moon Delight" at 86 years old, but better late than never!
I say all this with a massive grain of salt. The chances of him incorporating this into a live setting is like 0.05%.
What do we think? purely coincidental? twice in two weeks feels oddly coincidental, especially when he hasn't talked about MMD for fifty years.

Custom frame for my poster and set list.
It's almost been a year since I saw Paul McCartney in Tulsa, OK. Not only did I get the beautiful city specific poster, but I was able to score a set list from the concert as well. I finally got them custom framed and hung on the wall. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out.

Listening to Flaming Pie and feeling emotional.
It’s been awhile since I listened to the whole album through and the first time since I lost a loved one to cancer. I didn’t realize how emotional this album would make me. Hearing Linda’s voice and Paul’s words. It’s a really special album.

Good telling of that fateful day! The author was actually my high school media teacher, circa 2000/2001. 🙂

Discussion Why am I seeing people not like the album version of Coming Up?
Personally I love it. The song is such a vibe, it’s so fun to listen to. And immediately after listening to temporary secretary. I simply don’t get it. I prefer the album version over most of the live performances. What is everyone’s problem with the album version.

L.I.L.Y Bracelet
Hello everyone, does anyone know what the LILY bracelet that Paul gave to Linda looks like?
He talks about it in chicken shop dates.
Thanks! X

Prime Years
Anybody else feel as though it's at least slightly a shame that wings took up most of Paul's solo career?
