Other I feel like Octopath community is quite wholesome compared to most other jrpgs fanbase
Pretty random post but I'm a fan of many jrpg franchises and I always feel like Octopath community is quite wholesome (at least on reddit) compared to others like FF, Persona, KH, Tales or even Trails to name a few. These are the ones I had the worst experiences with just as examples.
When there are new players who have trouble with bosses and stuff the community is usually quite helpful and give useful advices. There's always cute fanart of characters and memes. I usually don't see much arguing or toxic discussion, maybe aside from divided opinions on between 0/1/2 which is the best but that just shows they're all good games.
Also, idk why but Octopath games for me are just like a comfy safespace (which is funny because these games can get quite dark with some of the stories) where I can chill, play while eating or after a long day at work and they're quite easy to just pick up and play too. The cute pixel art and Yasunori Nishiki san's amazing music are definitely huge factors as well.
