Just Because

Life is peachy album and cd singles

Hi everyone. My teenage son and I have made a website called All Things Rock, reviewing and ranking albums by the bands we love, and recommending things that people may not have heard. We have just revisited the amazing One Minute Silence and published a ranking, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions! We have also made a playlist of lesser-known tracks that casual fans may have missed. What do you think? https://www.all-things-rock.com/all-albums-ranked/one-minute-silence

We have also ranked Slipknot, Spineshank, Machine Head and several others. It's all for fun, not profit, and to give my son some exposure to amazing music 😉

(Hot take...in our opinion, One Minute Silence were the finest rap metal band of all time...)

I remember reading years ago that Wayne Static said the song was based on a real news event, supposedly a woman who hit a burglar with a shovel and was interviewed on TV like a hero. All I can find are other people saying the same thing, but no actual news source or link to the original interview.

I also know the voice samples come from the movie Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, so the story might be more of a loose inspiration, or I may be misremembering.

Does anyone have a link to the original interview or the news event?

I have been listening to some slipknot and allan lately and I really like it but I have no idea what to listen next. I really like tatternd & torn and disasterpiece from slipknot, burn trought and fist from allan and I mostly listen to Iowa and slipknot from slipknot if we talk about albums, aslo I have listen to deftones but I didnt really got into them.

This is such a uniquely interesting track that sounds fantastic to my ears. I’ve yet to ever really hear anything quite like it.

Does anybody have any recommendations of tracks from any band that I may enjoy based off of Pink Cellphone being a favourite of mine? I’m also quite curious what everybody here thinks of the song in general, lemme know!

Im a big fan of LeFT and Matt in general so I dug around and found some more media/songs of LeFT/Matt. I'm gonna exclude WDFY, My Disease, Womb and Advance, I'll get into it

4 Elements by Chronic Future is so fucking good, all the songs are so good, everything about this album is amazing, i dont understand why its usually looked over or hated.
