I downloaded the app, but there wasn't any mention of a special gift.

Anyone know what the special gift is and how to get it?

Metric just teased the first few seconds of a "lost title track" on their Instagram, and it definitely sounds like something from Pagans to me.

There's a bunch of instrumentals and vocals from before Pagans came out, and they were all used in the songs of that album, except for one. I always assumed it was some alternate version of Other Side, since that's the closest match to it, but with the few notes we can hear in the song being teased, I could honestly see it leading into this melody. I put the link to the old instrumental track if you wanna see for yourself.

Also, Pagans in Vegas had an official cassette tape, which is what's shown in the clip. I feel like the evidence here is pretty strong, but let me know what you guys think.

Started listening to her solo stuff recently cuz I watched interviews she's doing for her book, and when I was streaming the album "Out of our Minds" at times I didn't know if it had hit autoshuffle and was playing early Metric.

Can't quite pin it down, but her voice and guitar production, and sometimes some of her basslines really feel like Metric. So I wondered if there was a connection besides being Canadian Indie, and I didn't see any.

I was going through some old photo folders and found these (sorry for the bad quality, I had like an iPhone 5 at the time) Still one of the best, if not THE best show I’ve ever seen… period. I got there earlier than expected, and since everything but the tables on the balcony was GA, I was right at the edge of the stage all night.

This was the Fantasies tour (I still have two tour posters that I snagged off the exterior of the venue after the show) and the night was just electric. Band of Skulls were a great opener, and Metric did a killer set. During the acoustic encore of Combat Baby, some poor girl fell while crowdsurfing and cracked the back of her head on the stage. Emily stopped the song IMMEDIATELY and jumped to check on her (she was fine, or at least walked away fine). That always stuck with me, like, how many artists would do that? ESPECIALLY mid-encore.
