Is there anyone that may have any info on the status of the Mat-9 CZ Scorpion mag lower? Me and some other people have been waiting on it for over a year and rather not go with S9 so we’re just begging for any crumb of info please.

I wanted to get rid of the phase 5 but still had right side control over the bolt, so decided to put a Dremel to my lower. Sad that I had to dig into the pretty piece of lower, but I think it turned out alright.

I also had to dremel a channel for the wire on the back of the paddle, as normally the paddle sits flush to the upper and it was raising the bolt stop into the trip sled.

I am having an issue with my New Frontier Armory S9 lower fitting with the MAT9 upper. The ejector from the lower is in the way, preventing the upper and lower from seating all the way. The last picture shows the wear on the upper where the ejector is hitting.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? I’m reaching out to both manufacturers to see if they have a solution, but figured I’d also check with the community.

Two questions, what length did you go with? And can you still shoot it with it fully collapsed ?

Seems to be around 1100RPM (Only change from stock was a stronger recoil spring), i can't really be sure since the online calculator doesn't really want to pick it up properly. I keep getting bolt bounce/dead trigger, probably from ROF being too fast. Slowed down the audio and roughly found out it shoots 10 rounds every .543 seconds.

For now though, it seems to work, only when I put a strap down in the back of the upper and lower to clamp it down, otherwise it's very inconsistent on resetting the hammer. Disappointing that the Matador branded upper and lower fit so loosely, wish it was better from the start.

Have the hydraulic buffer ordered, hopefully having the ROF slowed down will help with the bolt bounce issues.

Just FYI, the LRBHO extension tab had to be removed, otherwise it would function normally, except on the last round, it will bind the bolt as the bolt stop tab will block the trip sled.

RareBreed trigger / FM9 Lower / BRN-9 direct blow back upper - unable to get the EZTS out now as was the case when the hooks bent back on the aluminum sled. The hooks on the steel sled simply sheared off & went who knows where.... ridiculous.

Having some failure to feed issues using a colt adapter

Took a slow mo video and these are the relevant frames. I know more than likely the fees ramp needs to be adjusted, it may be a dumb question but from what you see here would you say it needs to be higher or lower? Dremel the side or bottom of the ramp? Any suggestions appreciated.

Also yes I did adjust the ejector per blowback9’s recommendations and that solved 99% of FTE issues. This FTF has been more prevalent recently.

Order 95xx shipped. USPS has it now so it still stands a chance to be lost. Mat9 upper and trip sled. Maybe in a week I can be in the club for real.

Just ordered my trip sled, wondering how long it took for these to ship out and if all the orders now are the steel version?

Will be test firing tomorrow hopefully, but function check appears to be great with the Trigger Company's (Formally known as Partisan) LAT, with no bind anywhere.

Doesn't look too bad maybe 1-2 milling marks I can see out the box gotta get it to the range and report back soon.

Long time lurker. First time poster. Had this little guy for a while now. Only issues were ejector related. Once I got that into the correct position it has ran 100% reliably. Shout out to David.

Repost. I installed the hydraulic roller delayed buffer for mat-9k. It did not fit out of box. I bought a carbide .3250 straight flute reamer. Used a hand drill at the lowest RPM (300rpm) Reamed the holes I needed for it to function. Tip: make sure both buffers moves freely before pushing the pin through.

I finally got confirmation that my order is ready to be shipped. I was told that a label was printed and it would be shipped last Monday or Tuesday. Patience is a prerequisite with this company so I waited until Friday and called David and was told to text him with the order number. I never got a response so I messaged him again today with no response. Now what?

Been slowly piecing this together since May. Picked up the JK Armament CCX 9 for free today (as part of last years BOGO promo they did).
Just waiting on the KM3 Solutions SD handguard to see if I like the CCX, or if I transition to a hub-mounted can (ie Rugged Obsidian)

Do these guys provide any customer service? I’ve emailed and tried calling but voicemail is full. I have a simple question about my order (not when it’s shipping).

Another week of no answer and I may just have to pursue a chargeback.

Has anyone tried to get Mat9 or the Mat9K to fit on PSA JAKL9 lower receiver?

My 92xx order, made in late June just got marked as "completed" but I don't see a tracking number in the email or on the website. Is this normal with Matador?

Edit: I emailed and was provided a tracking number. Not sure why the system doesn't do that automatically.
