Frank grunting dressing up as spider-man is hilarious 😂😂😂

There are a couple of legitimately funny moments in the movie. The first organic webshooter scene, for example.

Kinda funny that even SPIDER-Man gets icked out by spiders lol

Well lots of spiders eat spiders, so it kind of makes sense.

The previous movies were definitely funny but they were a bit try hard at some points. This is easily the most effectively funny movie in the series. The elevator scene was hilarious too. All the humour came just at the right time

You've said it. That's exactly what i was wondering,......that what was so different and refreshing about this one. The right amount and kind of humour. None of it looked forced, unlike some scenes of the home series. The right balance between humour, action and emotions is what i LOVEDD the most.

The humor was probably the most organic I’ve seen in a Marvel movie. It actually flows like it’s a normal part of the conversation instead just there awkwardly breaking up a serious or heartfelt moment.

Yeah, it wasn't dialog humor or commenting, it was either situational or visual a lot of the time.

Honestly it’s the first marvel movie in ages to make me laugh. The humour was genuinely refreshing

It helps that tom and John are good friends

I wonder if I, having seen Jon previously as Punisher, have an especially instant connection to Jon's "official" portrayal of him? Tom and Jon's chemistry is undeniable, but he absolutely nails Punisher AGAIN this time and it enriches the dynamic.

Plus it's bona fide street level Spidey bullshit and that's what I'm here for.

Peter's reaction when Ned shows him his Spider-Man suspects is perfect. Especially with Ned saying "If you knew who they were, it would really blow your mind".

Don't forget about frank moaning gorilla noises while dressed up as Spiderman in the hospital

Audible laugh from me at this scene.

Kinda wild that Punisher is the comic relief in a spiderman movie

62

u/your_mind_aches Jul 31 '26

And only like 40% of the jokes are about him being a murderous psycho

The Punisher One Last Kill showed us what he is like when he is all alone which makes it 1000% funnier lol

2

u/Jeff_goldfish Aug 04 '26

I loved the whole scene showing where he lived and the boobie traps he has set up that shows is how he lives when alone lol

u/Jeremyg84 Jul 30 '26

I was cracking it up. He’s just trolling us at this point.

The Frank peter dynamic is so funny. With Daredevil its a little more serious and down to earth. With Peter ita like this stupid kid keeps getting in my way but hes also growing on me

The dumb waving made our cinema chuckle.. his grunts and fist pumping sent me and my mate.

7

u/Wild-Apple4039 Jul 31 '26

There's no way him doing all that was actually on the script he 100% improvised that

5

u/Halfie4Life Jul 31 '26

That was 100 percent the actor living out a fantasy

3

u/laineDdednaHdeR Aug 01 '26

He finally got to be the kinda dad he always wanted to be. 🥲

2

u/ThomWaits88 Aug 01 '26

He completely stole the show for me lol

3

u/megalo-maniac538 Aug 02 '26

Hell yeah Peter's character was elevated because of him in the 2nd act. Peter had this isolation problem not knowing that frank is there for him with their banter.

His arms waving too!! Made the whole theatre crack up.
