Furnishing a new place
So I'm moving and completely furnishing a new place. Any advice on where to find American-made dishes, pots/pans, and furniture?
Thanks!

When it comes to a shirt you wear every day, for just about everything. What do you prefer?
We carry both in our American Made brand. Customers speak to both fabric contents but the most popular surprises me. We get a ton of comments about 100% Cotton Everyday Tees. So much you would think 100% cotton would be the overwhelming favorite when it comes to t-shirts.
What I think it is though, the reasons behind cotton carry more passion. Natural fibers, avoiding synthetics and microplastics, these are all reasons that have a higher level voice in comments and customer emails.
What's crazy is our Everyday Poly Cotton Tees outsell the 100% cotton versions 10:1, on an average day.
With that said, I'd be curious as to what you all prefer when it comes to a shirt you live in. Why, if you don't mind adding some context.
Poly cotton just seems to hold its shape better. After a full day of wear, it's still tight on the arms, holds its mid section shape, and doesn't stretch out. If it's hot and I sweat outside while filming, the poly fibers dry quicker and the shirt doesn't stain with sweat like cotton would. Being an active guy, I want an active shirt, but not the 100% poly style. I do appreciate that natural softness of cotton but like the elements with poly.

I own JudyP, a small women's tops company. Everything we sell is made in the USA. We make knit tops in a microfiber and spandex fabric that doesn't wrinkle and never needs ironing, sizes XS to XL. A lot of our customers travel with them for exactly that reason.
Keeping production domestic is harder than it sounds. There aren't many cut-and-sew shops left, and runs are small. But it means we can reorder colours in season and know exactly who is making every piece.
Glad to answer anything about how American apparel production works from the inside, or about the tops themselves. judypapparel.com

They don’t offer a wide width, so I was curious of the fit. I’d like to get a ball width measurement on a size 11.5 or 12. Their size chart is the same chart for their boots, I believe. And their fit guide says runs slightly large. Any help I’d appreciate without me needing to buy and return.

I purchased NOBL luggage with the expectation that I was buying a product consistent with the representations prominently displayed on NOBL’s own website. NOBL specifically advertises its products under the heading “Made in North America.”
The company further states:
“Our products are assembled in our own facilities, managed end-to-end by our team, never outsourced.”
The same page also states:
“Designed and Assembled in North America.”
Those representations mattered to me when making my purchasing decision.
Imagine my surprise when my NOBL luggage arrived in a box bearing a sticker clearly stating “MADE IN CHINA.”
I contacted NOBL customer service because I wanted an explanation. What happened next was even more disappointing than discovering the country-of-origin label.
The customer service representative initially maintained that the products were made in the United States. I then pointed out that the actual box containing the product was labeled “Made in China.” Only after I presented that evidence did the explanation change. I was then told that some products are made in China during busy times.
That explanation raises an obvious question: How is a customer supposed to know this before making a purchase?
If NOBL manufactures or sources certain products in China during periods of increased demand, then in my opinion that should be clearly disclosed to customers—particularly when the company’s website prominently tells consumers “Made in North America” and says its products are managed end-to-end in its own facilities and “never outsourced.”
My experience with customer service only made matters worse. I provided a screenshot reflecting what I purchased, yet I was told that this was not sufficient. The representative’s response came across as dismissive rather than genuinely interested in resolving a legitimate customer concern.
What I found particularly troubling was the progression of the explanations: first, I was told the products were made in the United States; after I pointed to the “Made in China” label, I was then told that some products are made in China during busy periods.
My issue is not that a product is manufactured in China. My issue is transparency.
There are excellent products manufactured all over the world, including China. But consumers should be able to rely on a company’s representations when deciding how to spend their money. Had I known before purchasing that the luggage I would receive could be manufactured in China, I could have made an informed decision.
I have retained screenshots of NOBL’s website showing the “Made in North America” representation, documentation reflecting what I purchased, and the packaging identifying the product as “Made in China.”
Based on my experience, I feel misled and extremely disappointed. When purchasing premium-priced luggage, I expected not only a quality product but also transparency and premium customer service. Instead, I received a product whose country-of-origin labeling did not appear consistent with the impression created by NOBL’s advertising, followed by changing explanations when I questioned it.
I strongly encourage anyone considering NOBL luggage—particularly anyone for whom country of manufacture is an important purchasing factor—to ask the company in writing where the specific suitcase they are purchasing is manufactured and assembled before placing an order.
NOBL should provide clear, consistent country-of-origin information for its products and ensure that its customer service representatives provide accurate information from the beginning.
I am extremely disappointed with this experience and, as a customer, I feel scammed.

It’s a little early still, but anyone know of any USA made adult Christmas pajama sets? I’ll even take MiUSA Christmas-y fabric and just make my own if that’s the only option.

These are the only MIUSA braided stainless washing machine hoses I could find.

I'm looking at getting a pair or two of Prison Blues jeans. I like that they come with a 38 inseam likey wrangler. I'm hoping they aren't too baggy. What's the difference between the work jeans and the relax cut? I'm going to either need 33 or 32. I'm wondering what the thigh and hip measurements are as well if anyone has a pair.
Also, I'm looking for a medium and heavy weight sweatshirt that comes in tall sizes. Any recommendations?

I intend on buying a Camber sweatshirt once the weather turns colder, specifically the “Camber 234 Cross-Knit Heavyweight Crew Neck Sweatshirt”.
Everyone knows their clothes are notorious for insane shrinkage. I usually wear a large. I know i’m going to size up but would it be too much to size up as far as 2xl? I am okay with an oversized fit. I’ve heard of people sizing up one and then after just an air dry it becomes too small to wear.

For those that don't know, as a Memorial Day promotion 2 years ago, Walmart combined with American Giant to make a line of patriotic American Made, American Grown hoodies and shirts for a good price ($40 for the hoodies and $13 for the shirts)
Unfortunately, they didn't sell. For some, the "American Made" branding seemed too MAGA and the more slender cut was too thin for the average Walmart shopper while, for others, $40 was still too expensive for a hoodie when you can buy a Chinese made hoodie with an American flag for half that price. Long story short, it didn't end up appealing to either the average Walmart shopper or the average American Giant consumer.
Finally, after 2 years of not selling, the hoodies (which are the real star of the collection) are on clearance for about $18. These are wonderful light/medium weight hoodies. Not as premium as the standard American Giant hoodie, they are still soft and warm and are my go-to hoodie, especially for Spring/Fall
At $18, these are a steal!

Looking for manufacturers for modest wear but I'm having trouble.
Most manufacturers ive contacted arent simply manufacturers but also growth specialists, business managers, consultants, and the like. Before producing items, youd have to use those services. I think those services are amazing for those that need it! But for brands that are already established and simply just want their items produced, we dont need the 10k in fees that I got quoted for consulting or growth management. We're not looking for a manager of our business, but a manufacturer for our goods. And the services are mandatory before you can even discuss MOQs. For 200 pieces for simple t-shirts, the price came to about $75-$150 per piece.
I think it would be nice to not make the business manager services mandatory so brands can have more American made goods :)
These fees and details of their processes of the "packages" are listed on their site so its not an "f off" to me as one commenter mentioned. They simply just made the services mandatory for anyone whether they are a brand new business with 0 knowledge or one with a 6 figure revenue.
It was either 3-10k for consulting fees and growth management, or 7k a month for 6 months for managing your business. For the clothing, thats a separate cost and there's also a production fee of a few grand on top of the wholesale order. Most times for these quotes, the one time 3-10k was for each style. Want to make a tshirt? Pay 3-10k for the consulting and growth and then also pay for the wholesale order. Youd have to do this again for pants for example or any other new style.
I would happily pay the cost of this amazing service if I needed it. If I was a struggling business, if I was a new one, but I'm not. And unfortunately, theyre mandatory.
Im looking to connect with American-made clothing manufacturers who simply manufacturer or can just get started with my items. I'm not looking for a business specialist. A team of sewists is also entirely welcome! I'm not as familiar with that and id love to hear how the production is structured.

The only brands that I know that make their own paints are Daniel Smith, M Graham and Da Vinci. But I've had no luck on finding American brands that do empty pans or tins. Any pointers would be appreciated!

I just came across this while working with a professional dog trainer for my puppy. It's an e-collar. Educator Collars by E-Collar Technologies. Manufactured and assembled in the US. It's like muscle stim for your dog that you control remotely. It's nice to see that not everything electronic is made in Chin-a.

Love this little tool so much and it's a great American small business. Squeezes out the last bit of toothpaste, paint, etc out of the tube but also just makes it easier and less time-consuming to squeeze the tube when it's getting empty.

Hi - I'm trying to find somewhere that would be able to print some custom graphics on USA thick walled diner mugs. It's for a friends 40th birthday and want low volume 2-4 mugs. Most that I've found online have minimum order quantities of 50 units. Does anyone have any recommendations?
