Riley from Season 1 and Amir from Season 3 were basically their respective seasons' designated Pure Good characters. Both were genuinely sweet, innocent and kindhearted, which made their horrible and brutal deaths even crueler.

Riley was probably the nicest person in Emma's friend group, despite being part of the popular crowd. We watched her slowly bleed to death on the police station roof and then Noah helplessly watched through his phone was heartbreaking.

Amir was the shy, awkward good kid of the Deadfast Club who dreamed of becoming a DJ. His death was especially cruel because he was brutally gutted and managed to unmask his killer, revealing Beth, the girl he was falling for, in his final moments, similar to Casey Becker in the original Scream.

Between the two, whose death hit you harder?

One of my horror nerd goals is to get a photo with all of the killers in the franchise. The Ghostfaces and Lakewood slashers as well. That being said, I had to get a photo with Amadeus. I’ll never get over that reveal, one of the best in the franchise.

I love the first two seasons. It was awesome meeting a bunch of the cast this past weekend. This was the first time they’d all been together since the show was cancelled. They were all incredibly nice and I loved seeing them all get some love after all this time.

The con was a bust but it was awesome meeting so much of the cast from the first two seasons.

For me it's a mix of both; when it comes to calls and character I prefer Piperwhen it comes to kills I prefer Kieran

No matter how much I try to the buckles come undone or make the mask too lose. I have motor disfuction issues so I genuinely can’t put this thing on after spending 150 on it

i’ve only watched that show once when it aired and i actually didn’t remember much of it. especially season 2. i have so many questions.. i’m so confused on how kieran did all of that by himself/how he got to different places so quickly. in episode 12 when they are at the movie theater, how did he call emma when he was standing with noah?! how did he take audrey so quickly?!

most of all, why did everyone seem so dumb in the second season? how did no one catch on that it was very obviously kieran? that whole scene with emma and audrey at that barn when the mayor died really pmo because why the hell would they touch him and the pitchfork!! and why was the new sheriff so freaking useless. he was just so desperate to catch the killer, it seemed like he didn’t care that it was clear audrey and emma were being set up.

actually a lot of s2 characters were annoying. and i don’t remember emma specifically being annoying. like i understand her being paranoid and traumatized so i’m not talking about that. i mean whenever she gets upset with her boyfriend, she runs to the next guy. like whatever her little thing with eli was was weird (also eli’s reasoning for being back in lakewood was stupid). or how hypocritical she was about not wanting to be lied to but lied herself. or her wanting to do everything alone or her whole “this is between me and the killer” attitude but he wasn’t just only after her.

and lastly… kieran’s actor really made it hard to watch. i mean, i know i cannot act but he CANT ACT. the whole reveal was just terrible.

i think i know why i never cared to rewatch the show. it was literally frustrating!

After the first 2 seasons I was convinced Scream the tv series couldn't get much worse. The reviews said otherwise but they also praised what I considered to be very underwhelming cringe-inducing television. I was excited for the change in cast and the new, urban setting.

Holy fuck this is bad. Like bad bad. 6 episodes and I am trying desperately to get through it.

It makes me so mad though because the potential is there! Look at Alien: Earth or IT: Welcome to Derry

So I thought I’d give some of the things I enjoyed about the Halloween Special and season 3:

For one thing, I love how each season has its own unique theme: season 1 is satirical horror, season 2 is body horror and soap opera revenge, the Halloween Special reminds me of anthology horror and made up lies, season 3 is The Breakfast Club but a slasher, adult oriented show.
Another thing I love, is the shortened length. With a secluded environment with very limited places like Shallow Grove Island: it’s really hard to flesh out the plot, I found that the 120 minute runtime is just enough but they could’ve made it longer or span 3-4 episodes if they used more or longer flashbacks (use show not tell). As for season 3, VH1 was on a tight schedule and had to start from scratch. I don’t blame them but they did have their great moments with the limited time they had (the deaths in this season, and the emotional impacts on the main crew).
The third thing I enjoyed was that they made every episode count, and this applies to the movies as well. Although it did feel very stuffy and convoluted, season 3 probably has the most consistent number of deaths per episode, season 1 felt plot driven but I feel like there kinda needs to be a balance between the kills and story in the episodes. Same applies to the Halloween Special, they had a halftime right in the middle of the Halloween special and went from murder mystery more flashbacks and lore stuff. Technically if we count up all the deaths in the Halloween Special the number would be 14 (take away the killers there’s 11) putting it up there as an episode with the highest kill count as well as the highest overall in both the series and most of the movies.
The last thing I want to note, is that the Halloween Special has 3 different loosely connected groups of murders going on in the same episode. There’s Kieran and the unnamed guards’ death at the beginning, Alex Whitten’s murders in the middle and at the very end, then the Reginald flashback murders close to the end.
What I’m saying is that the third season and Halloween Special are underrated and deserve more attention.

I watched it for the first time thanks to tubi and man I miss it already and I thought I couldn't crush on bex any harder but after this I can formally say they Def made my type lol, but in all seriousness this was so amazing (besides season 3 in my opinion) but its better than what we were apparently gonna get but I already miss my bi curious and the virgin and brooke omg she was amazing Def scream queen her, audrey and noah are my favorite characters I wish they didn't leave is at a cliffhanger but I'd take that everyday than what apparently was supposed to happen I wish we got more and more merch especially signed merch and if there isn't already behind the scenes I wish we got that too but I'll stop my ramble 10/10 series I went into it thinking it was gonna be corny left wishing we had more

Was Jake always supposed to die in season 2?

They obviously needed one of the lakewood 6 to die and it was always either going to be Jake or Noah

Emma and Brooke were the 2 main main characters and couldn't die, Aubrey was hinted at being the killer so killing her would make no sense, and Kieran was the actual killer leaving Noah and Jake behind

They couldn't kill Noah because he took over as the news guy/podcaster and had actual plot armor

So I think Jake had to die he was always just there anyway he obviously didn't deserve to die but out of the 6 he was the least interesting and could be killed off with little to no questions asked

I know this season was maligned but after rewatching the series on Tubi, i prepared myself for the worst with season 3 but it was better than I remembered

In the final reveal though I couldnt help but wonder if Kym was a secret third Ghostface, working only with Beth and not Jay.

When Beth gets shot and she says “you were right. We are partners” it didnt seem like she was mentioning the good cop/bad cop convo, I took it as calling Kym her accomplice. Beth called Kym telling her to get away. Beth killed Manny to have Kym to herself. Beth killed Amir for breaking the rules (snitching) even though she liked him, but not Kym for telling the police.

I dont think Kym killed anyone but she knew it would be great for her future and career as a final girl survivor. Plus she always popped up randomly. I guess i just think a Keke Pamer killer monologue would be awesome. Oh well

So in all of season 1 they talk about Tyler and Nina in the group and being bestfriends with the rest of them but it never to me feels like they were actually a part of the group because we never saw them interact with any of the main characters so it felt a little off to me personally whenever they were mentioned as a part of the main group

Did Tyler and Riley have something going on on the side because she was quick to immediately defend him and messaged him immediately and looked heart broken the whole episode about how he could be the killer despite having something going on with Noah

Why was the "whose next" poll not get talked about at all other than a scene where Jake tells Brooke he didn't vote for her, you would think that would be a bigger plot point discussed by everyone if there's a whose next poll

Why did the female cop who was the sheriff's ex just up and leave mid season why would she not stay and see it through she knew that the sheriff was bias and would she have stayed if she knew that the town coroner was daisy.

Anyway here's a few of my thoughts about season 1 any insight is much appreciated

Their friendship is so real and raw it breaks my heart everytime

Audrey and Emma were bestfriends closer than close, probably spent the whole summer after 8th grade planning what they were going to do in high school and how they were going to be college roommates and live together

Then the first week of high school the popular kids bet Will that he can't get Emma to date him and he does and Emma takes the bait and leaves Audrey behind for the wolves acting as if they were never friends. Then Emma takes part in filming and releasing the Rachel video and that is next level

All of season 1 is Audrey putting up walls that she doesn't want to have to put up even saying "I miss you Em" throughout it and Emma realizing the only true friend she's ever had had been Aubrey all along

Emma was such a shit best friend to Audrey and I just think their friendship is a tragedy

Made this last Halloween. Did my best to make it as accurate as possible, I think it turned out nicely

She says that Brandon's son came and spoke with her. He looked like an old-time movie star. She starts grasping for an "S" name, and they feed her Seth, which she agrees to.

It seems like she is grasping for "Steven" which could easily be confused for Kieran.

I feel like this shows that Kieran was always involved. He definitely fits the description, and Seth obviously didn't go and speak with the woman. Who did, if not Kieran?

But...

When they are talking about an accomplice in season 2, they never address "Seth's" visit with Cassie, at least not that I can remember

I know Audrey was always the planned accomplice, but what if there was always more than one?

Additonally, why does Emma even believe this woman? It is clear she became confused very quickly in the conversation. At the mere mention of Daisy, she started confusing Emma for her. She is so ready to take this woman's words and run with them though.

[Side note: I am watching the season 1 finale currently. Jake's line "This drink is undrinkable" is hilarious]

so i've recently rewatched the show for the first time since 2020 and the amount of times i've watched it over and over again might be unhealthy like i can't fall asleep unless the show's playing but that's irrelevant. My question is about Emma and Audrey. Season 2 Episode 10 this is the episode Noah is attacked and Zoey gets killed but now about my question, when Emma goes over to Audrey's house to try and hear her out about the "i brought piper to lakewood" situation. Emma asks Audrey if she knew Piper was her sister the whole time and she said yes and then Emma says "and when i started to think my half sister was the killer why didn't you say anything?" that might not be exactly how she said it but it's pretty well along the lines of it. Now my question is when did Emma ever suspect Piper as the killer? Not once have i seen or heard Emma say anything to anyone about her being suspicious of Piper. I mean there really wasn't any reason for her to suspect Piper and even if she actually did I don't think that was ever discussed in season one so i'm genuinely just curious where that came from, please lmk if i'm missing something because i genuinely can't put my finger on it!!

Does anyone own the Smiffys Brandon James costume, specifically the mask? I’d love to see the quality of it before I buy one for myself. It’s pretty much my last hope since the Fun World masks are so rare!
