Why do we play towers? Because we want characters, but most importantly - gear. We play Elder Wind Tower in order to get and fuse Ceremonial Pipe, we play Klassic Tower in order to fuse Rocking Bowling Stones, we play White Lotus Tower because all the epics from it are good (even Tsukomogami has it's uses). For YEARS, it was a fair deal - new Fatal Tower comes around, you STRUGGLE, you FIGHT through every Fatal floor, but after floor 200 you will get your guaranteed epic gear, that will make next run a little bit easier. Or that gear even can grant a massive boost to your account.

A little bit of MKM history:

What was the argument two years ago? Black Dragon Tower got reworked, but Fatal rewards were messy - you could have gotten only Psych Bomb and Smuggler's Luck from Fatal 200, no Buzzsaw, no CyberHeart - only rare gear from those Brutality sets instead. After a massve negative reaction from the community it was changed, tower was prolonged and everything was downplayed as a bug. We were heard then.

What was the argument one year ago? People didn't want to play Tower of Horror and Lin Kuei Tower, because they are Normal Towers and there were no epics for 200 floor - there were no reason to play them, unless you didn't have featured characters at FX. So, Devs have added epic gear as a reward for completion of those towers, what everybody was happy with. We were heard then as well.

Fast forward to present time:

I think you get the memo - over years, Devs AKNOWLEDGE the fact that we want to get a GUARANTEED epic gear as a reward for completing the tower. Specifically, Fatal towers, because they are infinitely harder than Normal ones. From the new ones - Hellspawn Tower, Vought Tower, all worked that way. It was a fair deal of completing the tower and getting a guaranteed epic gear as a reward for your efforts. Even with the Tower of Time, it worked that way.

So why does it has to change with the Tower of Khaos?

I can understand lack of Tower of Khaos Summon Pack for DKs - Tower of Time didn't have it's own. I can understand, that Mayhem buffs can't be stolen, even though it devalues Ceremonial Pipe. It is very hard for me to understand the fact of Mayhem debuffs being irresistable because it devalues amazing rare and epic gear, which solves problems (and it obviously not fair, why then Inferno/Blood/Toxic Bomb/Firework's Blind can be resisted). -> right now they can be resisted, but I suppose it will be fixed. But to hell with it, maybe if I struggle enough, I will get an epic gear from Floor 50, so next run will be easier, right? Right? (*insert Padme gif).

50% chance to get a Krypt/other Tower gear as a final reward from the Tower of Khaos. Thank you that Wrath Hammer or Caro Guidance wasn't included.

But, WHY? Like, literally? You introduce a NEW tower, a NEW gear, but without any guaranteed/conventional way to get it - no summon packs and only 50% chance to get it from final fight. I play Towers because I need gear from that specific towers - I don't play Sorcerer's Tower because I need Wailing Spirit. How players are supposed to get the gear without paid packs or RNG?

"But Tower of Time was so often and players maxxed it's gear too fast..." - YES, BECAUSE THERE WAS 100% CHANCE TO GET THAT GEAR FROM FINAL FIGHT! Here you not only have 50%, but 4 epics instead of 2, what equals to 12.5% of getting specific one of those.

"But I'm cool with getting epics from other towers..." - Great, I'm not. Developers have specifically articulated that Tower of Khaos is an endgame thing. In the endgame, most of your epics are maxed. So you are basically granting veterans a 50% chance to get a sellback? Or, even better, would you like to get Enigmatic Well of Souls as a reward for finishing White Lotus Fatal instead of one of those OP epics?

Devs have nerfed Krypt twice. First time by decreasing the DK chances in Junk Boxes and ruining keys economy AND potentially now as we don't know, how big are fusion-up card drop chances adjusted. Now they want to ruin Towers as well with random epics instead of a guaranteed specific gear reward for the final fight. I literally don't understand it, that was an argument two years ago, one year ago, it was aknowledged and now we are back to the same stuff again. And don't say that it's a bug or anything, it is UNFAIR to veterans, who play newest towers for new gear, hell, for everybody.

Now, as we have already answered first eternal rhetorical question - "who is at fault?" - it's time to come to THE other one - "what shall we do?"

Solution is very easy, I can propose two of myself, that have taken less than 5 minutes to "invent":

1). The most obvious - remove the 50% for the "random epic gear from the other towers". Plain and simple;

2). Even better one - swap those 50% for... Epic Kasket. This is an endgame-hard-as-balls tower? Then why not make it a win-win situation for the veterans, for whom you have made this challenge? Either one gets a new gear or something to complete his collection. Now of course it's more expensive, so I can understand sticking up with the first option.

I do think that a lot of people agree that this tower sets up a precedent nobody wants to continue. At this point you can swap guaranteed specific epic gear for finishing the Fatal for random epic by that logic. However, maybe I'm mistaken?

Friends. Opponents. Comrades. Newbies. Veterans. Saint people who don't put Revenant and Bone Shield in their defensive RK teams. What do YOU think? Is it a good thing, in your opinion, that NEW tower isn't guaranteed to give you it's own epic gear per completion? Would you want the same treatment for the other towers, let's say for any new upcoming towers and the reruns. Share your thoughts in the comments, I'm really, really curious whether that's a me problem or are there any other people, who feel the same about this "change"

Got noob here maxed out.., I like him his design his ability I love he can be affected by any decide shi is honestly op ash, but my only gripe is his damage, maybe I got him set up bad idk but I feel the only think keeping him from blowing me away is his damage output…. Not saying it’s bad but it’s certainly no homelander or even darkest knight… but man that anti debuff is indeed insane

For the Characters section I think it’ll be nice to also get there Kameo as well, hear me out, for some players like me that pretty much can almost never buy Characters in the Krypt Store is pretty annoying but I feel they can fix this.

Example: Circle of Shadow Nightwolf, instead of only being able to get his Diamond for Hearts they should also give us an option to allow us to buy his Kameo as well for Hearts for us Players who have him Maxed this can be great.

Yeah I know we can’t use diamond fuse up on mk1 noob, but for assassin Mileena I forgot to ask.
