Thrift Modular Find
I bought 14lbs of miscellaneous legos at a local thrift store. As I was sorting through the bulk I kept finding pieces for the Grand Emporium. Turns out I ended up having ~95% of all the pieces but no figs. Not a bad deal for $100. This is my third modular that I have thrifted. I have found the Brick Bank and Assembly Square! Here goes to collecting all the modularās lol!

Brick Lane - My East London-inspired railway arches ā shops, interiors and a station above
Hi everyone!
I recently finished Brick Lane, a 3,794-piece build inspired by the architecture and streets I remember from growing up in East London.
I wanted the lower level to feel like a little section of a London high street built into old railway arches. Thereās Emās Grocers, a skate shop and the station entrance, with detailed interiors behind each of the arches.
The skate shop is particularly personal to me, as I spent a lot of time travelling into London to skateboard and visit skate shops during the 2000s.
One of my favourite details is that the arches have working garage-style shutter mechanisms, so they can actually be opened and closed rather than just being part of the faƧade.
Above everything is the railway station and platform. The model can be displayed on its own, but I also designed an optional red railway bridge so it can become part of a larger LEGO city layout.
Brick Lane is currently in BrickLink Designer Program 2028 Wave 1 Crowd Support. If you like it then please consider voting here:

New setup
Over the last few weeks we moved the entire city from the small room to the bigger room.
With this we got roughly double the size to display the city, a desk to work on and cabinets for brickstorage all in the same room.
Building everything modular and on mills plates made moving so so much easier and sturdier.
Also made the tables sturdier by adding wooden beams under them (can even sit on it now).
Still loads of empty space that needs to be filled in, but now we have room for a beach and a nature reservoir next to the city.
Plan is to run a train trough everything (not looped) working with the hard to find lego color sensor to send the tram back and forth over the same tracks from city to reservoir and beach.

How do you guys feel about the Non-Modular Modular sets?
Like the Ninjago ones, Marvel, Arkham, and the Lunar New Year garden.
Do you include them in your city? Do they not fit in? If so, why?
The only one I have is the Daily Bugle set and honestly, its too big and basic grey that it stands out in a not great way for me.
The only one of the Marvel ones I truly like as part of the city is the Sanctum Sanctorum set because it can blend in with the others.
The Lunar Garden looks like a nice little corner garden that a real city would have imo.
And the Ninjago buildings all look way too different to me.
But whats the general consensus?

Brickston Underground (BrickLink Designer Programme)
Hey all! I've loved this sub for a while now, you all always seem so supportive and helpful when it comes to feedback. With the new wave of BrickLink Designer Programme submissions going live, I wanted to share mine (and seeing how great others are, I'd love feedback for when I inevitably re-submit in the next round). And any votes would mean the world to me :)

P.S. I know it's not a Modular, but the programme doesn't allow Modular's so hopefully it's one that can be Modularised.

Home Of Ink
Hi everyone! I wanted to design a compact but highly detailed modular (2068 pieces) that contrasts a vanishing industrial craft with modern leisure.
- Ground Floor houses the Old Printing House, featuring a brick-build printing press and newspaper workshop.
- The First Floor is a cozy Bistro/Bakery with a fully equiped kitchen. It also includes a mini-karaoke corner for the minifigures to unwind.
- The Back features an active facade with a stone fountain and a hinged opening wall for easy interior playability.

Where would you put the Police Station?
Building the Police Station and trying to decide where to put it. The original plan was to put it to the left of the diner⦠but now Iām wondering if I should move the things to the left of Assembly Square so itās not quite so squished? (3 1/2 wide instead of 4). Or⦠I could switch the position of one of the others (although less fun with having to redo the connecting lighting wires lol)

The Art Factory is finally complete (almost)
Still need to buy some tiles to finish off the build, but this is the best I could do without any extra pieces. There were some options on Rebrickable to make it modular, but I didnāt like any of them, so I customized it myself. Wanted to keep the main set completely intact, including the mouse underground and the way it splits open, and Iām pretty happy with the final result. This is such a cool set, glad I was able to snag it on the 2nd chance sale!

Rural Irish Train Station MOC
I bought the recent vintage steam train and wanted to create a typical train station that you would find in rural Irish towns and villages. It's laid out on a 16x32 baseplate and consists of a waiting room and ticket desk, the station manager's office/ticket office, the platform with sheltered roof overhang, and a small yard for storing equipment.

Nerd Alert!
Much like Disneyland, my modular city will never be finished (but it is finally fit for photos, so here ya go).
