I want to get Bluetooth on my radio without using a plug in, in the cigarette lighter. Is there a way to connect Bluetooth behind the dash?

I just recently bought a 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer GT with the 2.4L engine. It's an actual Japanese made model. I want to make some upgrades but I've heard that's a bad idea with these cars. Only thing I've done so far is put a K&N filter in it since I read that it can't take the CAI. Can you mod these cars?

Anybody know how to get these open to access the globe? I’ve had one die on me today. Much appreciated!

Hi guys I have a 06 lancer equipped with the infinity amp but aftermarket head unit (I didn’t wire it up) and SOMETIMES but very rarely and even now seems like they don’t turn on. The speakers do not work, sometimes only the rear driver side otherwise they never work. I took apart the head unit area and checked some of the wiring and re-wired some of it as it was pretty badly wired. Yet the speakers still don’t work. It has a JVC unit, and kenwood speakers in the rear. The aftermarket subwoofer and amp work without issues just no speakers. Anyone help? Tried looking online for a potential stock amplifier bypass to see if that’s the issue but no go, thx

A friend gave me the set of the smoked out tail lights, but they don't have the wiring harness or the resistor and was wondering what solutions there are. Tried emailing VLAND no luck. Hoping someone can help Tail lights still have all the wires plugged in.

**2017 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.4L - Strange noise from front passenger side under load at 1,400 RPM (Not timing chain tensioner)**
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to identify a specific noise coming from my **2017 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.4L**.
**Symptoms:**
**Location:** Front passenger side (engine bay area).

**When it happens:** Only happens when driving **uphill / under engine load**.

**RPM Range:** Very consistent right at **1,400 RPM**.

**Work already done (Not the cause):**
Replaced the timing chain tensioner.

Replaced the tensioner pulley.

*The noise is still there exactly as before.*

One mechanic suggested it was inside the engine and not the pulleys.
**Attached Video:** Please check the video to hear the exact sound. Has anyone encountered this specific noise on a 2.4L MIVEC engine or Lancer chassis at 1,400 RPM ? Could it be an exhaust heat shield vibration, passenger side engine mount, CV axle/inner joint, or something else in that area?

Hi all, recently picked up a 1992 CB5 Lancer and have been having some issues with a no-crank condition.
I’ve checked all the fuses and repaired some damaged wiring, but unfortunately, I’ve had no luck getting it to start. I decided to pull the ignition switch and noticed an empty plug above where the ignition barrel connects, attached to a small white box sitting on top of the barrel.
Just wondering if anyone knows what this box is and where it’s supposed to plug in? I can’t find any loose connectors under the dash, but I’ve also noticed an empty plug next to the fuse box, so I’m curious if the two could be related.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I have a 2012 lancer Gt 5 speed manual, I was driving the other day and lost all my gears. Upon further inspection my up down shifter linkage popped off of my transmission. I couldn’t find and linkage clips or pins on the connectors. How would I go about fixing this or would I need to replace the entire transmission cable linkages?

Still tossing up whether or not to get front pods and a middle lip. Lmk

Hey people. I know this is a very long shot, but I just can't find information about this at all.

Here is what I know:

Some Mitsubishi cars, Lancer included, supports an official addon (MZ360272EX/MZ360340EX) that is able to remote start the car. This addon needs "Remote Engine Starter" enabled on Etacs.

Theoretically, with some messages on CAN-B network, you could remote start your car. Afaik, some alarms like StarLine Master and Pandora DOES that.

Just for some context, my plan is to use an Pi Pico Microcontroller to actually send this though CAN-B.

The problem is:

I just can't find the necessary CANBUS messages that starts the engine. Days of researching the web, and nothing.

The engine starts after the last command.

However, even with that, I still can't find more info. Looks like none of those messages have docs...

I've bought an ELM adapter to enable Remote Engine Starter on my ETACS, so I can finally send those messages from my laptop using my Canable board and finally test everything.

Does all of this makes sense or am I going insane?

Had this since 2018 and was able to drive it at 2024 and now here it is in the now present. Lmk how y'all think
