Just got done with these. Makes me want to break out my books and reread some of the classics (dark Judges, Apocalypse War, etc).

This was a screenshot from the Matthew Allright show today.

I assure you, there is nothing allright about it.

Karl Urban was at Comic Con Holland today and I got him to sign my Mondo OST vinyl. The man's an absolute legend, going above and beyond with the quote. He really loved people bringing stuff from Dredd to sign apparently.

This is supposed to be happening next year. How does the community feel about it?

I found this shirt in a thrift store and was wondering if anyone had any information on it? I can’t seem to find anything online except one eBay listing.
TIA

Edit : due to higher shipping rates, I’d advise digital only outside of the UK

https://shop.2000ad.com/catalogue/on-sale

Digital is cheaper and saves room, comes in pdf & cbz files which can be downloaded to read with whichever app you want that uses those formats or the official 2000ad app.

Physical books are also available

I'd Recommend the 3 Essentials on sale especially to new readers.

Essential Judge Dredd: America

Essential Judge Death: My Name Is Death

Essential Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death

as well as all the other Dark Judges books on sale. However Anderson Versus Death is a novel not a comic book, just a heads up.

Long time Dredd fan but only recently started reading the comics. Is Essentials the way to do it? I bought the first two but I know they’re out of order and it feels like I’m missing part of what makes the Dredd universe so cool, in that it’s a singular narrative that expands over time.

However, I also like to prioritize convenience so if the Essentials are the easiest way to read the series, I’m in lol

Ten seconds of perfectly animated Dredd & Alpha

Just about to start case files 12 - and dipping in bits of Anderson 1 at relevant points. Absolutely loving it all so far and excited to get into everything to come. Only read insurrection and Lawless before that (hopefully a sixth volume of Lawless is on the way asap!)

Have the rest of the restricted files and the batman collection on the way but is there anything else not going to be in the case files I should check out?

Yesterday I went to the Day of Dredd in Liverpool at Forbidden Planet comic book store. Got to meet Joe Currie, Leigh Gallager, John Higgins and Sally Jane Hurst

I had them sign the box for the Judge Dredd badge and Battle Action too.

Just thought I'd share

I know I’m missing a few but this is the major of the series and tbh…. I really liked it! At first I thought “two solo Anderson comics? Who cares I just wanna see Dredd!” But after reading them o found out Anderson is so cool, they really use her powers to tell more in depth character development and it made me like her a lot, of course the highlight of the series is when Dredd had to go up against the dark judges. But and the end of it I felt like it ended too soon, i really enjoyed this small series and it’s too bad it ended with only a handful of comics and STILL no new movie

This fan timeline says says:

"2023: After the end of the Volgan War against the Eastern Bloc countries, work starts on building a vast Mega-City centred around New York, in an attempt to cope with the rapidly soaring population of the East Coast states. It is initially intended to house three to four million people; America's population at the time is rapidly approaching a thousand million."

"2031 The enormous metropolis is nearing completion. ..."

I gather that this date comes from the role playing game? Is this generally accepted? Is there anything to confirm or refute this? I am writing a book about sci-fi chronologies, and I was about to write that Mega City One was started in 2023, but I thought I had better check with the experts (you guys) first.

If the timeline has been retconned, I am interested in the earliest sources where possible.

Thanks for any help!

6 inches in height ,quite chuffed how these turned out .

Especially like the finish .

Great project .

I built this earlier in the year and promised someone on a 3D printing page that I would show it off here then completely forgot!

Inspired by the time Dredd fought a freaking T-Rex named Satanus! How could I not build a diorama for it!

I'm not that much of a mini painter or diorama builder but when the hyper fixation hits it hits hard!

Credit goes to the amazing 3D modellers who sculpted these pieces, Duncan Shadow (Tyrannosaurus), Alexeikonev (Judge Dredd)

Assorted DW/JD crossover composites I've made over the years. I have done the first 8 Doctor's, but these are the ones I feel came out the best.
Titles:
"The Celestial Games in the Cursed Earth"
"The Dalek Invasion of Mega-City One"
"The Last Vampire Lord"
"Technos"
