No. There will never be a "Hotline Miami 3".
The Hotline Miami games are very peculiar for a reason that not a lot of people seem to realize. They are games about games. They shine almost entirely thanks to the medium they were created in, and they try to say something about it.
While the first Hotline Miami reflected upon the usage of violence and storytelling in videogames, the second game did so in regards to sequels and finales. When Hotline Miami 2 was released, a reviewer described the game as "a game about the difficulty of making a sequel to Hotline Miami" which the main artist of the game, Dennis Wedin, agreed with. But Hotline Miami 2 is also a game about ending things, and the description used by online stores where you can buy the game explains this:
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game. Follow the paths of several distinct factions – each with their own questionable methods and uncertain motivations – as unforeseen consequences intersect and reality once again slips back into a brilliant haze of neon and bloodshed. Blistering combat against punishing opposition will require intense focus as new variables, weapons, and methods of execution are introduced throughout the struggle. Let the striking colors of an unmistakable visual style wash over as you meticulously cut down those that would stand between you and the ultimate meaning behind the massacre. This is the finale, this is the unquestionable end.
The game advertises itself as a finale, and it's not just because of marketing reasons, it's because the game is about being the ending of a series.
Dennaton has stated, even before Hotline Miami 2's release, that they were done with the series, here are some examples of them doing that:
E3 2014: Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Interview "But yeah, [The Level Editor] is a nice finish for us 'cause Hotline Miami 2 is the last Hotline Miami that we are gonna make, so it's like, 'okay, we're done, you can take it and do whatever you want with it'"
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Interview - TGS at E3 2013 "Because this is the final game and this is the grand finale so we wanna build more on sadness and 'the end' and what that means"
GC 13: Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - Dennis Wedin Interview "Like, all the characters and the story we've had it in our minds since the first game so it always felt like 'we wanna tell the whole story, the complete story' that's why we're saying that this is the final one because now you will see the whole picture, almost, it's going to be vague, so we're not gonna answer all questions, but yeah, this is it"
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - EXCLUSIVE Interview - Eurogamer "The pressure on us, from us, is to make the end of Hotline Miami as good, as challenging as we can" "I guess we can say there will be snow falling when we are finishing"
E3 13: Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - Interview "What we want to change is give the soundtrack a more 'sad' feeling to it because this is the end, this is the final game"
Dennis Wedin: The Sequel A MAZE. / Berlin 2015 -"Hotline Miami 3, when is it coming?" -"It's not, if you play the game you can see that we made Hotline Miami 3 but it sucked so we taped it over with Hotline Miami 2"
There will never be a Hotline Miami 3 or a continuation of the series, there is nothing for a continuation to be made, everything that Dennaton wanted to explore within Hotline Miami's formula has been explored, and the level editor was added so that people could explore what can be done with the formula themselves.
I've made this sticky to put a stop to any threads claiming that Dennaton is making an HLM3 and threads asking if there will be a continuation. Please, do not leave comments stating that you are sad because there won't be another sequel. If you're that big of a fan of this series to be sad that there won't be a new Hotline Miami game made by its developers, then you should be enough of a fan to understand what Hotline Miami 2 means to them. Hotline Miami 2 represents the end of Hotline Miami, but not the end of Dennaton Games, they are working on a new title which will be announced some time in the future, so look forward to it if you love their work.

Like there's nothing wrong with the 50 blessings OC's BUT
i swear all of the stories are like "my OC is not happy because that he needs to kill, so he tries to find the truth about who's sending him the messages, but unfortunately he gets killed"
like bro if you're planning to make an campaign about another masked maniac, make it something else i BEG

QUESTION Heyo need some help with Jackets jacket
As the title says I’m trying to find Jackets jacket from Hotline Miami, the best I’ve found was the one from “insertclothing” however I noticed it doesn’t have the Leather sleeves which is the part I liked the most about his jacket, is there any alternatives for his jacket? I bet this is a very common question but I have been looking for ages and cannot seem to find an accurate find, thank you.

Hotline Miami fans, how many hours have you played this game?
I love this game! At first, I played with a controller, and it was difficult, but I still managed to beat some levels. Then I switched to a mouse, and it turned out to be much more comfortable! I absolutely love this game!!!!

I just solved the biggest secret in hotline miami 2 wrong number (ultimate edition, Remastered, directors cut)
Okay so when i did the research about hotline miami 2 wrong number (ultimate edition, Remastered, directors cut) i stumbled across the level called "Down under (ultimate edition, Remastered, directors cut)"
It's a level wich introduces:
Corey the Zebra
Tony the Tiger
Ash the Swan
Alex the Swan
Mark the bear
And some of you might say "its just an hotline miami 2 wrong number (ultimate edition, Remastered, directors cut) level, nothing to worry about"BUT yall are WRONG and it's actually the level wich reveals the TRUTH about Tony the Tiger
so let me reveal the secret truth about the "Down Under (ultimate edition, Remastered, directors cut)
So at the start of "Down under (ultimate edition, Remastered, directors cut)"
we can see Tony saying
"Man, this party stinks. I fucking hate those people."
For some people its just an short dialogue BUT NOT FOR ME.
So let me break this dialogue by small parts so you'll understand.
"Man," Tony here reveals the person he's saying this to.
He obviously says it to Corey, Mark, Ash and to Himself (wich proves that Tony is insane but its for other theory)
That leaves Alex the swan. Wich WE ALL KNOW is the only girl on the party.
May Tony the Tiger be a sexist?
(I actually don't know about this but lets just leave that for now)
"This party stinks" - While everyone thought nothing about it, i prove yall wrong once again because Tony the Tiger refers to an very niche creator "sheakspere".
By Tony saying "This party stinks" he's refering to the single dialogue in "Hamlet (Act 1, scene 4)"
in wich Marcellius says:
"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark."
things that are "rotten" very often STINK, A.K.A something STINKS in Denmark.
As you may have noticed the word "party" stands for "Denmark"
It's so simple i don't even want to give that an argument.
"I fucking hate those people"
- Now, Tony might've reveal his true identity.
Tony from hotline miami 2 wrong number (ultimate edition, Remastered, directors cut) IS actually GAY.
And let me prove this to you.
Firstly he says that "he FUCKING hates these people"
on this party most of the people are men. Tony the Tiger wants to say by it
that he hates them and loves them so much he could've fuck them.
The relation of Tony the Tiger and the guests are very toxic as you may see.
Also did you ever thought why Tony the Tiger "Hated" these people?
Well i also have an answer for that.
In the 90s 55%< were still homophobic.
Wich means that if they would've find out Tony is gay, they would stone him to death or smth.
That's why he hates them but also loves them.
Also did you ever wondered why Tony has that scar on his nose?
Me neither.
But if i would have to guess its because someone beat him up for being gay.
The rest of the dialogue in the Down under (i wont repeat the same unfunny joke over and over dw) is completely useless, and doesnt provide any useful information.
So. What we learned about Tony the Tiger?
Tony the Tiger IS:
Sexist
Gay
Mentally ill
Furry (cut content)
Warm blooded psychopath (cut content)
Resident wich is evil (cut content)
Still alive (cut content)
Andy's friend (the guy wich killed EVERYONE) (other theory)
and the father of Tattooer from end of the "hard news" (cut content)
I hope you enjoyed this PURE FACTS (proved by Dennaton and Revolver digital)
Hope yall enjoyed and believe me.
Yazter please do a vid about this (this is very serious and proved theory)

Thoughts on "Wildstyle"?
A very fun campaign to be honest, very good music and very good level design (apart from sea wolf's 4th floor, daymare's 3rd floor). The art is very nice too, the gun sounds are also some of the best I've heard in a campaign. They're very satisfying to listen to.
The campaign is a little generic due to the fact that it follows the story of a 50 blessings operative (how original) and the campaign just lacks in some aspects of originality. For instance, daymare and nightcall are the most creative levels in the campaign because it takes place on a construction site and underground area in a motel, which hasn't been done in the base game. The rest of the levels just take place in locations we're already familiar with. We've already been to COUNTLESS apartments in Slice, we've already been in a chop shop in Takedown, we've already been to a villa in Rush and we've for sure been on a boat before in Sea Wolf.
I would personally give it a 7.8/10. It's a short but sweet campaign that doesn't overstay its visit.
