Just a quick update today as we are now less than three weeks until the release of Hoop Land Update Version 1.10 on Tuesday, October 20th!

This week I improved the way team awards are awarded and presented:

• Team awards will now be displayed on a new screen after the single player and coach season awards
• Team awards will contain 1st, 2nd, and 3rd teams if there are enough candidates to fill each team
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team awards will be displayed individually on a player's career awards list
• HOF values for 2nd and 3rd teams will automatically be reduced from the full HOF point value
• You'll be able to choose 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team when assigning a team award to a player in the custom editor

And lastly, Hoop Land Steam Edition is currently discounted for 10% off during the Steam Autumn Sale going on now thru October 8 at 10 AM PT!

Just under a month remaining until the release of Hoop Land Update 1.10 on Tuesday, October 20th!

Today I'm excited to share a few new features I've been able to add in the past few weeks:

Coach Awards

Coach of the Year award has been added as well as the ability to create your own custom coach awards. Coach awards are weighted by the team's overall performance so you can, for example, award a coach with the most season wins, highest point differential, three pointers made, etc.

College Class Awards

The ability to award specific college classes has been added to college league awards. For example, you can create a Most Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior award.

New Default College Awards

New default college league awards have been added including Defensive Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Points Leader, Rebounds Leader, Assists Leader, Steals Leader, Blocks Leader, and Coach of the Year.

Trade Deadline Notification

Inbox message notifications and league news for the incoming trade deadline has been added to notify you of the final day for trade offers.

New Career Mode Option

When starting a new career, the option to choose an existing player in the pro leagues has been added for Premium Edition users. This allows you to skip college and head straight to the pros into the shoes of an active player to write the next chapter in their legacy.

Change Season Mode

A new button that allows you to change the current season mode has been added to the offseason settings menu. This will allow you to simulate years in Commissioner Mode to create a back history before switching to Career, Campus, or Franchise Mode. Or you can start a career and then change to Commissioner Mode to watch your player's career continue to develop, the choice is yours!

Choose Career Player Position and Defensive Matchup

In Career Mode, the ability to choose an eligible player position and defensive matchup has been added upon entering the game. Now you'll be able to take on the challenge of shutting down the opponent's best player.
