The hallway touch-up is now a different white. Of course it is.

Need help organizing this area of my house. It’s part of the kitchen and hallway leading to the garage. My wife is happy now but i think we can improve it.
1st picture is where I’d like to put something where we can write notes or words (sight words for toddlers) and possibly a better key rack
2nd and 3rd pictures are of the hall way leading to the garage. We replaced the big calendar in the 3rd one with a skylight calendar. Super awesome. I think something like a cork board or something to put artwork and grades up would be cool.
Any recommendations or ideas would be appreciated!

How do you organize the random stuff that always ends up in the entryway?
My entryway keeps collecting keys, mail, reusable bags, shoes, and random things I bring home. I tried using a small basket, but it quickly turned into a pile of stuff I rarely sort through.
I'm thinking of adding wall hooks and a small shelf.
What storage solutions have actually worked for you in a small entryway? Especially curious about setups that stay organized without needing to tidy them every single day.

How best to store your T-shirts on deep wide shelves?
Hi 👋🏼 how do people store their T-shirts on shelves that are really deep and wide? I hate just piling them on top of each other because you can’t see what’s there and then they are topple over. I’ve tried the plastic stackable things but I’m not a big person my tops can be tiny little crop tops and they take up a lot of space with no a lot of clothing. Then Iv tried the fabric storage containers but with my tops either being tiny like they take up the space of a pair of socks or bigger shirts so there’s never an organisation look like the photo. The ones I have don’t aren’t connected at the bottom either so when you pull the draw out to look the t shirts roll under into different sections. I don’t know if that makes sense.
What do people do? I’m all out of hanger space 😢

What do you think of my idea?
I’m planning to cover all the boxes in my attic with colorful plastic liners like these. This way, I can protect the items inside from dust while also turning all the boxes into a colorful, coordinated storage system! 🌈
What do you think? Do you think it’s a good idea? I’ll share photos once I’ve finished! 😊

Just finished putting this 7-tier rotating rack together. Corner storage looks clean for now
It took a little time to put together but it feels pretty sturdy. I like how it looks before I fill it with shoes and bags. Now let's see if it really saves space.

How would you rather a store be organised

books taking over the living room lol
Rented place so no shelves on the walls. Just stacked whatever didn’t fit on the console next to the mirror. Projector’s on that wall so can’t really do much else. Looks kinda messy but at least I can still reach everything.

What’s that ONE awkward item you had to completely MacGyver a storage solution for because retail organizers are useless?

Useful shelving unit
I'm pleased I got this, it frees up a lot of space but I wish it was a bit more sturdy

How do you get organized when you don’t even know where half your stuff is?
I’m closing on a house soon, and I really want to use the move as a chance to fix a problem I’ve had for a while: I’m terrible at keeping our stuff organized.
We moved to a different state and have been renting for almost a year. The rental is smaller than our last house, and our things are spread between the storage unit, the garage, and the spare bedroom. At this point, I don’t know where half our stuff is. I end up buying things again because I can’t find the ones we already own.
I have ADHD, and my wife and I also tend to put things in different places. She’ll put something somewhere that makes sense to her, and I’ll never think to look there. No one’s doing anything wrong, but we don’t have a system that works for both of us
I’m serious about putting in the effort when we move. I just don’t know where to start. And I don’t mean I need help organizing one specific area, like the pantry or a closet. I mean the whole assortment of stuff an average middle-class family accumulates and uses around the house. I need help figuring out how to give all of it a place and actually remember where that place is.
Do you organize as you unpack, decide where things belong first, get rid of a bunch of stuff, label everything, or something else? What systems have actually worked for you, especially if you have ADHD or share a home with someone whose brain organizes things differently? I need help, lol.

Household backups can get messy surprisingly fast
Extra trash bags, soap, batteries and cleaning supplies often end up scattered across various cupboards or shelves throughout the home. This makes it difficult to keep track of existing inventory, frequently leading to the accidental purchase of duplicate items. Designating a specific area or spot for these extra supplies is a simple way to keep things organized, streamlining the process without overcomplicating the system.

Bath toy storage ideas that let things dry
Pulled a squirty fish apart last night and I'd rather not describe what came out. So I'm sorting out our bath toy storage properly and this time I want something water can actually run out of.
The mesh bag we have just holds water against everything, and the lalo bin keeps coming up when I search for bath toy storage. What do you put your kids' bath toys on that don't mold? A mesh bag? A plastic bin? And how do you dry it out?

Karissa at Home
Does anyone have digital versions of Karissa at Home’s room reset checklists, cards, or meal plan that they would be willing to share?

What works best under sinks?
I'm finally tackling the cabinet under my sink and realized i have no idea what organizer to get. i want to store cleaning products neatly without making everything harder to reach. clear bins seem simple, but a tiered rack might help me use the vertical space better. i'm trying not to buy something that looks nice online but turns out useless once it's installed. if you've organized yours, what would you buy again and what would you avoid?
