I have found an unfathomable amount of hockey card from the early 1990’s in my grandpas old stuff.

Turns out he bought them as an investment when he lived in St. Louis.

Most boxes are completely full of Pinnacle, Upper Deck, and some others. There are also a ton of sealed packs and boxes.

I’ll provide pictures and if yall would be so kind you can help me decide what to do with them.

Got back in to collecting a couple of years ago and sent a few in for grading in March. I just got them back today and pretty pumped with the results

I was so hyped when I pulled this that I didn’t notice right away, but the front is black and /5 while the back says rose which is out of 65 I think.
Is this an error or what happened?

Just opened my first Hobby box, still in the process of sleeving them. 8 young guns. Did I do alright?

I’ve been building up a little Sabres patch collection. There’s not a ton out there to be honest. I’d really love a multi color Afenigenov patch if someone had one.

Ice was my favourite product before this year, i dont like the One pack thing, so i got some Celibrini rookie year, and this is what i pulled today, First time i open it i got a /99 Celibrini rookie, on card signed, acetate card, and today THIS… omg imma name my child upperdeck ice hobby box

Love the YG outburst. Nothing too crazy outside of the McKenna SP. So far my luck with Series 1 has been crazy compared to the last couple years, can’t wait for tins to drop!

Just bought my first couple of boxes and I am loving the hobby so far!!

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask these questions and feel free to direct me. I looked at the new collector post and got a lot of great info but I had a few more questions and wasn’t sure who to ask.

1. What do you guys do with all the duplicate base cards? Do you just donate them? Sell them? I’ve opened three boxes and now I’m not sure what to do lol.

2. What is the hierarchy of value for some of these cards? Granted it has a lot to do with a player and their career and also what the card means for your PC. I know that the odds determine some of this but what about things like dazzlers vs silver outburst, stencils vs canvas, or repping vs if portraits?

I didn’t intend to, but a couple weeks ago I grabbed a pair of Jared Greenway red outbursts, and they just so happened to come on the same day.

I was comparing the two cards, and realized that one didn’t actually have any stamped numbers.

It came from COMC and was listed as 24/25. Wondering if this is common? Was I scammed?

a series one 2026-27, this is what i got! im really happy with both boxes eventhough i didnt really get any of my favorite players. :)

These look so cool in hand. Probably his 2nd or 3rd best card IMO depending on your view of the 97-98 Mirror Gold.

Spent $27 after tax and they won’t open. I opened the free pack of the dat earlier but these won’t do anything when I click on them
