Heli Identification? Helicopter ID
Any idea what helicopter this would be? Seen flying 30 miles south of Cleveland, OH. It did not show up on FlightRadar. At first I thought it could be Marine One but the coloring looks off (I know nothing about helicopters).

General Question Need some bling on my noggin
Have a lh050 that I want to spice up a bit. It’s grey in color and I’d like it to be a bit more visible from the air. Anyone know of a company making a wrap or sticker kit for these helmets? Haven’t found anything on the general interwebs. Or if anyone has a large lh050 that’s red or orange that wants to trade for a grey one message me. Has about 8 hours on it. A20 with the quick disconnect. Take care gents

Heli Pictures/Videos So glad these containers are air tight
Pulling a head out of a can just to find the head I got from supply was WORSE than the one I was replacing. Pretty sure they used this thing as a boat anchor at some point

Heli Pictures/Videos Vietnam UH-1 Huey helicopter carrying Yasuko Naito - Japanese survivor landed at Pochentong International Airport, Phnom Penh, June 17th 1979

Yasuko Naito's husband was a Cambodian diplomat. Her family was forced by the Khmer Rouge into border farms, where they endured harsh living conditions and brutal beatings. She lost her husband and two young children, and she herself wandered with the remnants of Khmer Rouge all the way to Thai border. She was confirmed alive by Vietnam volunteer troops, rescued, and given priority transport on an UH-1 heli to return back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Heli Pictures/Videos HMLA-169 AH-1Z during SF Fleet Week - 2026
Didn’t get many great shots of the UH-1Y or AH-1Z at Pier 27 due to the crowds but this particular night photo stood out to me personally; first time seeing an active duty “Cobra” of some kind that’s not a museum AH-1G or AH-1S.
Crew that were guarding the aircrafts were friendly and answered a bunch of general to some more specific questions about the birds and accompanying armament.

Heli Pictures/Videos TIL- During startup of a Bell UH-1 Huey, a crew member holds one of the helicopter's rotor blades as the rotor begins to spin.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
During startup of a Bell UH-1 Huey, a crew member holds one of the helicopter's rotor blades as the rotor begins to spin.
In the first moments, the rotor is still turning at a low speed, and the blades can experience flapping and droop because there isn't enough centrifugal force to stabilize them. Under certain conditions, this movement can cause a blade to dangerously approach the tail. That's why the crew member controls the blade during this initial phase, until the rotor speed increases and the rotor becomes more stable.
This behavior isn't exclusive to older helicopters. Modern models also need to manage blade movement during startup, but they typically use mechanical systems called droop stops, which limit blade movement at low rotor speeds and can disengage as the rotor reaches higher speeds.
The helicopter shown is a Bell UH-1 Huey NZ3814, operated by the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
For everyone saying this isn't true, even calling it AI. Please read the comments as there is a airman from this exact helicopter squadron and he backs this as doing it 95% of the start ups. It's also been said it's pretty standard for windy conditions
