Why are their no clubs/activities/groups in Guelph.

I don't know what it is, if its just my inferior search capabilities or if i am semi-validated in my qualm.

So basically i keep coming up with ideas of things i would like to get involved in; Debate club, creative writing, poetry, music programs [not just lessons], different community education programs (camping, woodworking, candle making etc etc)
{specific to me; a wrestling ring}.

etc etc.

like any time i think of something and search online all i ever get is university sponsored things and nothing by/for the general public.

Like ideally, i want to join/start a debate club, or more so host regular debate event between two people.

Like i know true answer if start doing it yourself, be the change you wanna see, but im just trying to start that sort of networking/relations building but get dissuaded and want to see whats out their first and wet my beak.

writing: https://vocamuswriterscommunity.com/

woodworking, and many other skills: diyode.com

music: https://www.guelphcommunitysingers.ca/ https://nhbguelph.com/

wrestling ring you'd need to go to Kitchener
