I've been doing GH sparingly for over a year when I have time. When I am oncall and there's a mission in effect, anymore I want to say f- it and go home. I'll lay out the good and the bad and I want to hear if its just me doing something wrong or if its systemic.
Mission +$4 per order delivered. The good is you can get the boost. The bad is over the usual 65-85 minutes that its running, you'll definitely get 1 delivered but the chance of getting a 2nd order delivered is possible but not likely, a third order is impossible because even if you do get one you will not make it to the dropoff in time. The worst is being 1 minute past. For some unknown reason it will be an array of things. One being the drop off is at least 20 mins away. I see this one the most along with the drop off being on the edge of outside of my zone. The second issue being the order takes 10-15 mins or more. I dropped 1 order after waiting 20 mins and told it would be another 10 before it was ready. I was not okay with blowing out a third of an hour and still had an 8 mile drive for $7-something.
Mission: Deliver # without skipping any/more than 1 and get +$$. Example: today from 5pm-8pm, deliver 6 get +$9. Cool. I skipped 0, got 5 in those 3 hours and only 4 counted because the 5th was 1 minute passed. I declined the next 2 that came in within a few minutes and turned it off, went home. This always happens. I'll be short 1, the offers are too far away, the drop off too far way, or like today I went more than 30 mins without an order. Does anyone remember that insurance commercial with the fisherman having a dollar on a hook and kept yanking it back when someone jumped for it? That's what it feels like.
I've really come to hate missions and regard them as being a joke.
Some days GH is trash, some days DD is trash. Missions are always trash.
