Hello! First time poster so hopefully I get this right. I purchased RDR2 as it's quite discounted atm. Not realising I had already purchased it years ago. I have a code, I'm not sure how I decide who gets it ? Is it a first come first served?

hey, so, best regards to all of you, except for the people who threatened to murder my family over American truck simulator.

I'm concerned, to say the least. I would be scared, if it weren't stupid. I don't know how people take not winning giveaways so serious.

It's out of generosity, it is not my blood oath to spend money on you.

I dont really know what to do, but for now, i'll keep a vpn on until this blows over.

I can't even believe i'm saying this right now.

Hey everyone,

Here is how this is going to work, because I want to make sure the base game actually gets played:

1. The Base Game First: I'll be gifting the base version of Cyberpunk 2077 to the winner.
2. The Phantom Liberty Reward: If you actually play through the base game and finish it (I’ll check your Steam achievements/playtime when you're done), I will gift you the Phantom Liberty DLC for free afterwards. No pressure, take your time, but I want to see that you're genuinely experiencing the story.
3. Account Check: Your Reddit account must be public and active no brandnew burners or private profiles, please.

To enter:

Drop a comment with your public Steam profile link (per sub rules).

Tell me why you want to play Cyberpunk or why haven’t you played it yet.

If you've grabbed games from this sub before, mention what you got and be honest about whether you actually played and enjoyed them or if they just became backlog trophies.

All this 3 needs to be fulfilled.

I'll leave this up for a couple of days and pick a winner once things slow down. Good luck chooms!

(Note: you are trying to convince two people and not just me so try your best)

Hey everyone,

Good luck everyone 🤞🍀 and happy gaming😊

You're awesome!!

Okay here I go again and honestly I am praying that I can spin a lot of words now just to get my request accepted.

So yesterday was my birthday and I was hoping that my fiance would buy me cyberpunk 2077 because I saw that it was on sale, on my birthday of all days. He did not because he had other plans on what to get me for my birthday.

I finished the base game a couple of days ago and it was truly something that made me obsessed. I ended up reading the comics and cannot get the game out of my mind. Now you are probably thinking why am I here requesting the base game if I already played it? Well simple reason is that I played on family share on my brothers account.

I really want to play the DLC because I am hoping to find the DLC ending more satisfying than the base game ending but I can not buy the DLC because the base game is on my brothers account and not on mine.

I also do not have the money right now to buy the base game for myself. SO here I am requesting the base game from you guys and hoping to buy the dlc for myself when I have the money and it goes on sale again.

Overall the game is a slight obsession for me and you know that if you buy it for me it will be played on not just sitting in someone's library to rot.

I think the game is on sale till the 28th of October for 17usd.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I do hope you consider it. Steam link

thank you, i really appreciate the gift and the game 💗

Hi! I have an Amazon code for this game, but I don’t need it. If someone wants it, go ahead and take it, I don’t mind.

To enter, write down your favorite game character and attach a link to your open GOG account.

First come first serve, good luck!

Mine is Super Mario Galaxy from the Wii!

Hello! My name's Koopa! I don't expect much from this, but hey, no harm in it!

Why?

I've been a fan of the Jurassic World Evolution games for a VERYYY long time! (Since around when the first came out!) And as such, when Jurassic World Evolution 3 came out and it was as crazy of a leap as it was... (fun fact, I actually have a massive post yammering about how much I loved the game instantly when I first got it,) And with prehistoric east coming out, I've been really wanting to snag it! Just, don't have money.. period. It's genuinely got some realllyyy cool dinos in it that I'd be excited to use!! The dinosaurs look really good, the scenery stuff looks REALLY good! (especially the holograms!) It all around looks genuinely sick! And I've been itching to get it to expand the parks I wanna make, and the east asian theme would be lovely to use for making pretty parks! (For as bad at it as I am, I actually adore building in the game! And maybe one day I'll actually upload a map after feeling they are perfect.. someday.)

Thanks for I guess reading my ramble!!

Hey everyone! I hope you all are well!

This is my third try for this game, so hopefully third time's a charm! I really wanna get my hands on Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam as it's currently on sale for $19.99 CAD, and this would be the perfect opportunity to pick it up!

One of my favorite things about open world games is getting lost and wandering off the beaten path, finding cool secrets, and generally getting into silly adventures. RDR2 seems like the perfect game for this, with it's huge, detailed world and the sheer number of distractions you can get yourself into. I could easily spend hours riding around on horseback, getting into fights, hunting, and doing other shenanigans rather than advancing the story!

As of lately I've been playing mostly on my Steam Deck OLED, and I'd really love to be able to experience RDR2 on my preferred device. Being able to explore the wild west at my leisure sounds amazing, and I know I'll inevitably convince myself to just play for "one hour" and end up spending an entire night playing!

I also like to find little things hidden throughout games, and RDR2 seems to have plenty of those! I love games that let me do silly diversions rather than always grinding or chasing after the next objective, and I think RDR2 would be a great game to get lost in!

I understand if nobody is able to fulfill my request, as $19.99 is still a pretty decent amount to pay, but I'm very grateful for this opportunity and for anybody that reads my request and helps me out!

Thanks for reading, and hopefully third time's the charm!

Have a great day/night everybody!

2 months ago, someone from this community kindly gifted me Euro Truck Simulator 2: Iberia, and I wanted to say thank you again. I've spent quite a bit of time exploring Spain and Portugal since then, and I really enjoyed driving through the new cities and roads. It was a very nice surprise, and I'm still grateful to the person who made it possible.

I haven't played ETS2 as much over the past few weeks, but Iberia actually made me realise how much I enjoy this game when I take my time with it. I'm not really someone who cares only about reaching the destination as quickly as possible. What I enjoy most is the journey itself: driving for hours, watching the scenery change, passing through different cities, and seeing the landscape gradually shift as I travel from one country to another.

That's one of the main reasons why I'd love to get Vive la France! next. At the moment, travelling between Iberia and the rest of Europe can involve taking a ferry, which is perfectly fine, but it also means missing a significant part of the drive. I'd much rather be able to leave somewhere in Portugal or Spain, cross the French countryside, pass through its cities and eventually make my way towards Italy or other parts of Europe entirely by road.

France feels like a pretty important missing piece for the kind of trips I enjoy doing in ETS2. Having this DLC would open up more possibilities for longer journeys and make travelling across the map feel much more connected. I like the idea of starting a delivery far away from my destination and spending a good amount of time on the road instead of always choosing the shortest route.

There's another reason why this particular DLC would be useful to me. I also use the Italy Map Project, which adds more roads and locations to Italy. Some of its connections, including the one towards Cuneo, rely on roads included in Vive la France!, so owning the DLC would allow me to explore those areas and connections as intended. It's not just about having another part of the map available; it would also help me get more out of the map expansion I already use.

As for why I haven't bought it myself, money is a bit limited for me at the moment, so I can't really justify spending it on additional game content right now. I'd rather wait than spend money I need for other things, even when there's a DLC I'd genuinely like to have. That's why I'm trying my luck here instead.

I know I haven't played ETS2 much in the last few weeks, and I understand why that might make someone wonder whether I'd actually use the DLC. I'm not going to pretend I've been playing every day, because I haven't. Still, I'd genuinely like to get back into the game, and having more roads to explore would give me another reason to do so. I can easily see myself getting carried away with those long European trips again, especially with Iberia and France connected more naturally to the rest of the map.

I'm not expecting anyone to gift it to me, of course. I was already lucky enough to receive Iberia, and I don't take that kindness for granted. I just wanted to explain why Vive la France! is the DLC I'd really like to get next and why I think I'd enjoy having it.

If someone does decide to gift it to me, I'm sure it won't just sit forgotten in my Steam library. I'd love to start in Portugal, drive through Spain and France, and eventually reach Italy, spending hours on the road along the way. Honestly, those long drives are exactly what make ETS2 so enjoyable for me.

Thanks for taking the time to read my request, and good luck to everyone else here! :)

Hey everyone!! attempt 5 :)

Cyberpunk somehow went on sale again, so I'm back giving this another try while it's 70% off :)

why I still wanna play it

I don't wanna repeat everything from my other attempts, so I guess the simplest way to put it is that I really want a game I can slowly get into and keep coming back to for a while.

The whole futuristic RPG setting is actually pretty different from what I normally play, which is part of what makes me curious about it. I like the idea of creating my own character, figuring out how I wanna play as I go and just discovering everything without already knowing what the "best" choices are.

I've still managed to stay away from most of the story too. I know the basic stuff everyone probably knows by now, but not much beyond that, and I'd really like my first playthrough to stay that way.

I also love games where finishing the story isn't the only thing there is to do. If I really get into a game, I can easily keep playing it for weeks just because I like being in that world lol

why I'm asking here

I'm a college student rn, and between tuition and the bus I need to get there, most of the money I can spend already has somewhere to go.

So games are usually one of those things I have to leave for later, especially anything at full price.

There's also one kinda funny extra problem in my case, i don't actually have a gaming PC...

I'd be playing Cyberpunk through cloud gaming, which thankfully makes games like this possible for me, but it also means I still have to consider paying for the cloud service whenever I wanna play.

So even with the game being cheaper rn, there's a little more involved for me than just buying it.

Still, gaming is one of my favorite things to do when I finally get home and have some free time. After dealing with college and everything else during the day, sometimes I just wanna sit down, forget about all of that for a bit and play something I can really get into.

And I feel like Cyberpunk could easily be that game for me :)

the sale

It's currently 70% off again, from $59.99 to $17.99, and the sale lasts until October 26.

If anyone happens to have a spare Steam key that activates in Brazil, I'd be more than happy with that too!

Of course anything would be really appreciated 🤍

thank you so much! i really appreciate it

Hey [r/giftofgames](r/giftofgames)!

I’m here to request the newly released Minecraft Dungeons 2 for the fifth attempt

I’ve been waiting for this since it was announced. I really enjoyed the first Minecraft Dungeons, so seeing what they’re doing with the sequel has me genuinely excited. Moving away from the hub-and-mission structure to an actual connected world changes the entire vibe of the game. I’m incredibly hyped to explore the new sift dimension and test out the new four piece gear system and overhauled enchantments. It looks like a massive step up from the first game, and Id love to jump in now while the game and community are brand new.

Why I can't just buy it myself:

I live in Egypt, and buying games internationally can be surprisingly difficult here. The regional price for Minecraft Dungeons II is about $21 USD, which is roughly 1,100 EGP, already a pretty significant amount for me as a university student.

The bigger problem is actually paying for it. The cards I have access to don't support the international online payment I need, and most of the alternatives available locally are third-party gift cards. Those usually come with a pretty painful markup because there aren't many convenient ways to buy international digital goods here. So though the game itself is available in my region at a relatively reasonable regional price, actually being able to pay that price is the difficult part.

That’s why I figured I’d give the generous community of [r/GiftofGames](r/GiftofGames) a shot.

I would be incredibly grateful to anyone willing to help. I'm ready to sink dozens of hours into exploring the Sift and trying out the new enchantment system, and I promise the game will be thoroughly played and appreciated.

I’m not expecting anything, especially since this is a brand-new release and I know it’s a fairly expensive request. I just genuinely love the first game, I’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time, and I know I’d get a lot of use out of it.

Thanks for taking the time to read my request, and thanks to everyone who makes this community what it is :)

Attempt 2. My first request didn't get gifted, so I'm trying again with a better post.

Hey everyone,

I'm a solo indie dev. I've already released one game, UNEXTINCTION, and now I'm building a first person horror game called NULL. Just me, no team, no publisher. I started on Unreal for fun with tutorials and tiny projects, and I abandoned most of them lol. I kept at it though, and that's how I finally finished my first game.

Horror wasn't really my thing until I played the RE4 Remake. It hit me so hard that I couldn't stop thinking about it. I remember thinking "I want to make someone feel this" That's the reason I'm making horror games today.

Now I want to play Requiem. I'm a real fan, and I also want to study how they build the tension and the scares, because I'm trying to get better at it for NULL.

Money is the problem. Whatever I do have goes into my game. The Deluxe Edition is out of my range, and even the standard one is a stretch, so any edition would honestly make my day.

If someone gifts it, I'll play it and finish it for real. And when I'm doing better I'll gift a game to someone else too. Promise.

Thanks for reading!

heya yall!

I have been watching old videos of caseoh playing half sword non stop and on top of them being fucking hillarious i have also became VERY interested in the game, it looks like stupid fun and i have been wanting to play the game really badly, i tried playing the demo a bit but sadly you are kinda only locked to fists or very limited stuff so it wasnt a whole lot (which i mean its a demo its to be expected lol). (edit i checked again, i was wrong the demo has so much more than that and its really fun)

I have a lot of fav caseoh clips on half sword, like the one where he just just kept beating up the ass of paul, one of the recruits he hired in a big update for the game that is meant to be the 'first full version' of the game kinda, now obv the dev said this still isnt the full game, but compared to before that updateits obv a massive overhaul

I also like the shitton of clips from before the big update where caseoh loses his shit over the pitch fork and how overpowered it was, there is this clip that genuinely kills me everytime i see it, basically caseoh died in a really stupid way, he literally pretty much killed the enemy, but because the enemy was lying down while holding the pitchfork it accidentally stabbed caseoh, making him fall over and then the npc some fucking how got up and killed him.

its safe to say that im kind of a big fan of the game lol, hell even before the big update it still looked like a blast to play, i loved seeing that mode where everything is dark and you have to walk around and enemies can spawn from anywhere, it genuinely looks so fun.

anyways though it waould be very appreciated if someone can gift me the game cus i have been kinda really tight on money lately and cant afford to buy the game TwT

Hello everyone in the r/GiftofGames community! A few days ago, a very generous member of this amazing community was kind enough to gift me the base game of RimWorld, and I have been deeply enjoying the core experience ever since. I am writing to you all today to humbly submit a request for the Biotech DLC expansion to complement the base game.

The main reason I am making this post is due to the economic situation and regional pricing here in Romania. On Steam, digital games and expansions are priced in Euros, which makes purchasing full-priced DLC expansions on my own quite difficult when compared to local average wages and general living expenses. Because of these pricing dynamics, acquiring add-on content like this expansion isn't really financially feasible for me at the moment, which is why I decided to reach out to this community to see if a generous donor might be willing to help out.

I want to extend a genuine thank you to everyone in this subreddit for making it such a welcoming and helpful place for gamers around the world, and I truly appreciate anyone who takes the time out of their day to read through my post and consider my request. (Don't mind me using such fancy typing; the word limit is kinda annoying lol)

Hi everyone, I don’t expect this to work but I’ve had my eye on this game for awhile but haven’t been able to get it. I know the fall sales over, but I figured since I’ve tried this why not keep going lol.

What interests me about the game:
I really enjoy stealth games due to the satisfaction of making a plan come to fruition I also love the tension stealth games provide from non direct confrontation (although it depends on how powerful the player is of course) I’ve also heard that world of assassination in particular is really good for emergent gameplay which I’m personally obsessed with, and I’ve heard it compared to “immersive sims” (I find that term way too broad to be useful but I felt the comparison was worth bringing up). This appeals to me a lot because I adore trying to think through something and seeing it go wrong in some way. And while this is just an extra of course, the freelancer mode likely would be good for some fuck around and find out moments. Another thing that may be a bit of a stretch is that it makes me think of pulp magazines and golden age comics (I promise I’m not old just a giant dork lol), a more well known property that would help illustrate my feeling is mission impossible or James Bond.

Why I can’t get it:I recently moved to another state with my mother and haven’t been able to start working due to some paperwork BS that I don’t feel comfortable sharing on here. I was only able to give away the conscript key because it was a dollar on G2A and I was using some crappy survey apps to make some extra money.

Thanks a lot in advance to this community.
